Narcissa Malfoy bundled up her son Draco and put him in his crib. She sighed as she checked the time. It was 11 P.M. and Lucius has still not come home yet. This was becoming a normal thing for Narcissa now. For a week now Lucius had been coming back at midnight. Every night Narcissa questioned her husband on why he was coming back late. Each time he sternly told her that he couldn't tell her because this was between the Dark Lord and him.
Narcissa was starting to get worried. What was Lucius doing so late at night? Did the Dark Lord send him another mission? Was he supposed to kill someone? Even though Narcissa was a Death Eater she never liked the idea of killing someone.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Narcissa hurried to the door hoping it was her husband. But instead of seeing Lucius, she saw Ariana Riddle. Ariana looked thin. Her brown hair didn't have its usually shininess to it. In her skinny arms was a bundle. When Narcissa looked closer, she saw that it was a baby.
Narcissa gasped when Ariana lifted her face. There was blood on her face making her look dark and evil. Her Hazel eyes seemed lifeless and her lips were quivering.
"P-please make sure my daughter is safe. H-he used the c-Cruciatus curse on me. I-if he finds out about the p-prophecy he'll either kill her or recruit her." Ariana croaked. With that she handed the baby to Narcissa and then collapsed. But as Ariana fell down, she apparated.
Narcissa stared at the baby into her Hazel eyes. In every way she looked like her mother. What would she do with the baby? She couldn't exactly keep the baby here, Lucius would find out and take the baby to the Dark Lord. No, that could not happen. She needed to send her to someone trustworthy, someone who would never give her to the Dark Lord. Narcissa snapped her fingers as an idea dawned on her. She could send the baby to the Potters. It would be the perfect place.

The door to Harry's and Aria's room blasted open. Lily stood protectively in front of the crib that held the two babies. She loved them both dearly and she was not about to give them up to Voldermort.
Voldermort stood in the doorway. He cursed under his breath when he saw Lily. Another innocent person to kill. What was up with these people, always wanting to be the hero even though they don't have a chance?
"You need not die like your husband, just hand Harry over to me!" Voldermort sneered.
"Never!" Lily cried. Voldermort sighed and muttered the killing curse. The curse hit Lily straight in the chest and she fell down. Voldermort walked over to the crib. Voldermort was about to mutter the killing curse when something caught his eye. The baby next to Harry looked so much like someone he knew. Who could it be? Voldermort's eyes widened. She couldn't be her, could she? A triumphant smile spread across Voldermort's face.
"You tried to conceal her from me but you failed." He sneered. Voldermort took his wand out and pointed it at Harry.
"Avada Kedavra." He muttered. Instead of hitting Harry the curse rebounded off of Harry's forehead and hit Voldermort making him disappear. All this time Aria was watching the man that shot the spell, he seemed vaguely familiar to her.
