*Flashback* Just as I go to step in the cave, I feel a horrible pain in my chest. I fall to the ground in pain, as Paul runs to my side. He throughs a knife at the person who hit me and a canon fires moments later. I look at the spear in my chest and I slowly pull it out. Good thing it wasn't to deep. I notice I'm in tears. Paul engulfs me in a hug. He cleans up my womb, but it still hurts. Just then, I hear footsteps as someone walks in, but the rest is a blur, because I fainted from the loss of blood. I'm fine now* End of flashback.

I look down from the tall tree I sit in. It's the 2nd day in the arena and I'm still alive. I look into the bag that I found in the woods. I find some berries, dried fruit, and beef jerky, and water, and a sleeping bag. By the look of the berries, I notice its nightlock. I shove it all in the bag, just as I hear whispering and leaves crunching. I peak through the leaves to see the 6 careers. I start to panic. My heart beats fast as I lean as far into the tree as I can. Where was Paul?? He said he was gonna go get food! I let a tear fall out of fear. In the corner of my eye I saw a coyote. I climbed higher, silently. The coyote spotted the careers. The girl who looks my age screams, and they all run away yelling. They're finally out of site, when a cannon goes off. Paul appears, looking worried that I'm dead. I climb down and run to him and I hug him.
