The past couple of days have been normal with the exception of the frequent make out sessions in the staircases. So far, we've been in all of them. Is that an accomplishment? Maybe in his book.

During my lunch period, I would walk the halls with him just listening to him talk about goals and ambitions. We'd walk every floor, not too close together or not too far apart. He told me he does this everyday after early scanning.

"You know, since I'm a rookie, they give me most of the floors." He started up again.

"Don't you patrol all?"

"Yeah I do but, I do get bored so I wander around a bit."

"Hah yeah. All the action happens after school." I laughed.

"Yeah that's a fact. The busiest part of my day." Dylan sighed.

"Aw poor mister. It'll be okay." I consoled him with a pitiful frown.

"Hah whatever. I don't even know why they put me in this school."

"That's true. But, you have to adapt to your environment."

"You're right. And if they haven't put me here, I wouldn't have met my little princess." He smiled brightly.

"Oh?" I raised my eyebrow, "and who may that be?"

"I can't say any names butttt, she's really cute, brown skin, brown eyes, taller than me by an inch-"

"Actually two inches."

"Oh whatever." He rolled his eyes.

"Continue." I cheesed.

"And she's super nice sometimes even though she was really rude when we first met." He glared at me.

"She sounds difficult." I smirked.

"Ooh she is!"

"HEY!"

"Alright! I take it back." He laughed.

"Good," I smiled "And I wasn't that mean when I met you! That's nothing compared to how I normally am!"

"Oh woah okay then. The bell is gonna ring soon. What class you have next?" He asked me.

"Ew gym."

"Ew is right. Its too hot for that now. They gave you gym in the summer? Ruthless. I'll walk you to the gym." He offered.

We walked and walked some more until we got to the gym. I really didn't want to part ways. He was the sun in my sky and yet, I think that's kind of sad.

"I guess I'll be going now." I sighed and frowned.

"We could always still walk around, I'll just say you go swept." He smiled.

"That won't make my situation better." I laughed, "But thanks for trying. Go out. Do your job." I waved him off.

"Alright baby girl..." Dylan frowned at me.

I was gonna go in for a hug but I stopped myself because there's cameras in the hallway.

"Bye..." I sighed and stepped into the hot, musty, gym.
