(Y/N) POV
It feels like I have been in this car for forever. I looked at my phone to get the time. Only 5 minutes, no way my phone time must be messed up I've been in this car forever! I'm getting tired of walking around and waiting on my mom for what seamed liked years.
"How many more places do we have to go to now?" I asked as I got in the car after going to some thrift shop. My mom looked at her list
"looks like GameStop then groceries and done," she replied. " yes" I said fist pumping the air. I was unable to stay in the car when I saw the GameStop sign; I flew out the car not wanting to wast a second.
I went to the Nintendo 64 games section and searched for majoras mask. I hope they have a copy, I thought rummaging through the box that contained the Nintendo 64 games.
when I found it, I took it out so fast it almost didn't register in my mind I found it. yes found it, I thought vicariously. Then my mom paid for it, and she would glace at me from time to time and laugh a bit seeing how happy I was I got the game.
"Why are you laughing at me" I said after each time she would laugh at me.
Each time she would say, "just you and your games." Then, I had to go to the grocery store to get the stuff to make dinner. I would walk behind my mom impatiently wanting to go home and play my new game as soon as possible.
"we'll be going home soon" she said, sensing my eagerness to get home.
"Finally! it feels like I've been waiting for days" I said.
"Its only been 5 minutes" she said, giggling at how eager I was to get home. After what felt like hours, we checked out and drive back home. "yay, were back! I'm sure Aurora will be happy to see us," I said happily, stepping out of the car. ( a/n Aurora is your husky if its your name fell free to change it)
I walked in and Aurora tackled me and started licking my face, almost licking me to death. "Aurora, you goofy dog" I said in between laughs. My mom stood there in the door way laughing. "Don't just stand there help me, I'm being attacked!" I said jokingly, and hugged Aurora carefully pushing her off me.
I then helped my mom bring in the groceries and other stuff she had bought and went up to my room, Aurora following behind as always, and got my old nentindo 64 out of my closet and set it up. I sat in the ground with Aurora laying next to me. I pet her a bit and put in the game.
"alright lets see how it's going to work being such an old game" I said to the sleeping husky laying next to me. I turned the system on and, surprisingly, it started up just fine.
"Alright looks like its gonna work" I said to nothing in particular. I continued to play the game. it worked just fine for the most part; it would glitch out a bit here and there.
Each time it would glitch out, I would yell angrily at the TV for a moment then calm down and brush it off as it being an old game. Soon, it got late; and I got dressed and went to bed not knowing what was to come tomorrow.

Alright so second chapter. I decided to add a dog, husky to be more specific, 'cus I like huskies. That and, I have never read a x reader that you had a dog, so I figured why not. Sorry for any spelling and grammar mistakes, I'm not good with that stuff : P.
