Chapter 1.)- "Pathetic."

It is sortive cliché in the begining, but don't worry, it gets better I promise.

No Ones P.O.V

The celestial mage, Lucy, sat at the guild bar sipping her milkshake with a sigh. Team Natsu had just came back from a job; only earning Lucy enough to pay her rent, with only 10,000 jewels to spare.

It was a seemingly normal day until the guild doors bust open, revealing a grinning Natsu and a white haired girl everyone believed to be dead; Lisanna Strauss.

"Lisanna is back! She's as strong as ever guys!" Natsu squealed, clinging onto the mage by her waist. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up, eyes almost popping out of their heads when they realized her presence.

Lucy didn't know too much about the girl, only the fact it was Elfman and Mira's sister, also claiming the spot of Natsu's child-hood friend and first love.

Everyone jumped up and went to hug her, all except Lucy. She didn't feel as if though it were her place to do so; seeing as how she didn't know Lisanna personally.

Once everyone backed away from her, Natsu and her were holding hands. Lisanna shot a questioning look at Lucy before speaking, "Who is that?"

"I'm Lucy." She replied with a sweet smile. She finished her milkshake and walked up to the girl, stumbling on her feet. "You are Lisanna, right?" She asked, curiosity etched into her voice.

Lisanna merely nodded, closing her eyes with a sigh before facing Natsu. "Can I talk to Lucy alone please? I've heard a lot about her. I think we will be great friends." She pleaded, giving puppy dog eyes to the salmon haired boy.

He nodded with a grin before turning around and running to where Mira stood. Lisanna gave Lucy a pointed look before grabbing her hand and practically dragging her out of the guild hall.

They stopped in front of a tree, Lisanna plastering a fake smile across her face. "Look, Lucy. I don't know you, but you are to stay away from Natsu or the consicuinses could be deadly. Understand?"

Lucy couldn't believe her ears but simply nodded, at a loss for words. Little did either of the girls know, a certain ice mage sat in the distance, hearing every word spoken. Above, a very friendly exceed heard also.

The harsh words shared from Lisanna towards Lucy made Gray's blood boil, if that was even possible.

Natsu's P.O.V

My beloved Lisanna is back! I already miss her. She is talking to Lucy right now.. I wonder what they could be talking about. I probably am going to kick Lucy off of team Natsu.. After all she was just a replacement for Lisanna.

Happy dissapeared also, leaving me alone. I hope that him and Lisanna are okay. Wait, why am I worried? Lisanna can take care of herself.

I guess its a trait you learn when you have to rescue Lucy all the time. She is weak, but every time she would ask that I would say she wasn't.. But now that Lisanna is back I have no problem admitting it.

About that time my thoughts were disturbed by Lisanna walking through the doors, happy flying in front of her. He had a smug expression on his face, and every time Lisanna would try to touch him he would move away.

It was strange because he never did that with Lucy. Him and Lucy usually got along pretty good, except when he would make funny remarks about her that were mostly true.

Happy landed behind me and Lisanna walked up, a sadistic aurra radiating off of her. I just dismissed it as homesickness or whatever you call it, giggling softly when she grabbed my hand.

Lucy P.O.V

I can't believe I just heard that. I don't like this bitch already. For firsts how does she even know I have a crush on Natsu? Was it really that obvious?

Before I could realize what was happening, I was running towards my apartment. My shoes had fell off by the time I got there, causing dirt and rocks to stick to my feet.

I didn't care honestly. I ran into my room and slammed the door, falling face first on my bed and letting it soak up my tears as darkness engulfs me.

**Next Day, at the guild hall**

No ones P.O.V

Natsu and Lisanna were out on a job. They even left Happy, Erza and Gray. Lucy walks in with smeared mascara, and only a black tanktop with short blue shorts on.

She was barefoot, her hair was a mess. Gray, Happy, Gajeel, Master Mackarov, and Levy ran over to her upon noticing her poor condition.

She was bombarded with questions as soon as she walked through, but no one else seemed to notice. "Child, what's wrong?" Master questions, worry evident in his voice.

"Nothing I'm fine." She responds, trying to fight tears. She pushed through them and sat at one of the tables. She sighed heavily and laid her head down on the table, tears flowing freely onto her face.

Happy flies up, landing on the table in front of her. "Lucy, I'm sorry, I didn't want Natsu to do it. Please don't be mad at me."
"Do what?" She asks, sitting up straight and tilting her head slightly.

"I'll let Natsu tell you when he gets back. Me and Gray tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen." He says and flies away, on the verge of tears himself.

Speak of the devil, Natsu busted in through the door swinging a bag of jewels before eyeing Lucy and walking over to her. "Hey Heartfilia, we need to talk." He says, standing in front of her.

"Yes Natsu?" She replies coldly. "You are being kicked off of team Natsu, because you are weak, a burden, and most importantly, pathetic. Lissanna is taking your spot and don't even try changing my mind."

Everyone just stared in shock, not daring to move or speak. Lisanna stood behind him with a smirk on her face. Gray and Happy sent apologetic looks and kept mouthing 'I'm sorry' while Erza just nodded, a smile gracing her lips.

Master was gone to a meeting at this point, so he hadn't seen or heard anything. Lucy nodded before walking out of the guild hall, tears flowing down her face.

She pulled out a job request form where you had to find some rare species of animal that was highly dangerous, squeezing it in the palm of her hand. "I'll show them weak."
