CHAPTER 1

ICE'S POV

"This night will be exciting. Siguradong mananalo ka na naman. It means, more money will come on our side." Coach Dean smiled from ear to ear while signaling money using his hands.

"Fire ikaw na" Bert, the bouncer announced sa bungad ng tent namin.

"Let's see dean. We'll see" yun lang ang sinabi ko at sumalang na ako sa ring.

Oh here's Cara from Clovers Association, I know she's skilled  based on what I saw on her last fight. Let's give it a try. I wish this won't be an easy match coz I don't want to waste my time on shits.

"Be ready girls" sabi ng umaaktong coach pero nasa labas naman ng cage.

This is an underground battle by the way. Dead or injured on battle, tuloy tuloy hanggat hindi ummabot sa time limit and the fight is inside a cage na napapalibutan ng mga taong hayok sa pagkabayolente na magdadala sakin ng maraming pera.

Cara smirked on me before the bell rings na hudyat na simula na ang laban. I bet she thinks I'm an easy bitch. I returned with calm eyes and a small smile that changed her facial expression.

Isang kurap nya lang nasa harapan nya na ako at nabakas ko ang mumunting takot sa mata nya kasabay ng gulat.

"I can smell fear" bulong ko sa tenga nya at bigla ko syang sinikmuraan.

Napayuko sya and that's an advantage for me to give a heavy kick on her face.

Hindi manlang sya nagkachance na lumaban. I don't want to waste her effort. It won't affect the situation even if she did a single move. Iisa din ang kalalabasan at bubulagta sya dyan sa sahig.

"You can't get away from me that easy" narinig kong nagsalita sa likuran ko but because of my reflexes I dodged her punch.  I slide my legs at pinatid ko sya dahilan para mapaluhod sya at agad ko din syang sinipa sa muka na mais malakas kesa sa kanina.

I'm sure three to four days syang tulog.

That's the problem with girls. Dadaldal muna bago umatake as if character sila sa telenovela. This is real life, hindi tulad ng sa telenovela na magagawa padin nila yung balak nila kahit na matagal silang dumakdak at manonood lang yung kalaban. In real life habang dumadaldal sila makakatakas o makakagawa na ng move ang kalaban.

I made sure na tulog na talaga sya before I walked out of the ring at sinalubong ako ng madaming tao at binabato nila ako ng pera na pinupulot naman ng team ko na taga ORB Association.

I won the fight obviously. But Cara is lucky because I didn't kill her like what other fighters do to their opponents. I'm a fighter not a killer. As what I said earlier this is an underground battle. Each fighter know that in this place killing is legal and the management will just dispose them kung mamatay man sila sa laban.

The Management have connections starting from the government, law, hospitals and even morgue and cemeteries. Associations are like mafia groups that holds the fighters. The Associations have facilities and they are the one who train people to be a fighter. The Audiences and sponsors are politicians, business people and people with enough money to waste.

In short. We fight to earn money from the audiences and sponsors. And they pay us to have entertainment. If you're strong the sponsors will give you money. Kahit na hindi ka manalo basta maentertain mo ang sponsors sa performance mo they will give you enough money. You know, this whole thing is like a hunger games. The only difference here is the hunger for money.

"Told you. I am more than confident on you fire. You're still undefeated for four and a half years." Biglang sulpot ni Dean sa gilid ko habang kinakaway kaway ang bundle ng malulutong na dolyar sa kanang kamay nya.

It's been almost five years... I can still remember all of the details.

DAEMON'S POV

"Hi Daemon" biglang may babaeng lumapit saakin habang nakaupo ako sa stool dito sa bar counter. Hmm pwede na din.

"Hey georgeous" sagot ko pabalik.

"Be mine darling" Then a seductive smile formed on her face.

Di nagtagal eh may lumapit saking tatlong babae. Parepareho silang 8 dahil sexy at magaganda. Wala pang 10 minutes na nandito ako tatlo agad ang naakit ng inyong lingkod.
