Harmony's POV

"Kelly?" Sandra exclaimed, shocked if nothing else. I looked up to see my mother standing there with a smile on her face.

"Mom?!" I shrieked, then started choking on my soda I let out loud, unappealing coughs as I clutched my chest, gasping for air.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" My mother asked slightly concerned patting my back. I immediately stopped coughing and smacked her hand away.

"Don't touch me." I muttered, narrowing my eyes at her. She pulled her hand back to her side with a sad smile, and I almost felt bad... almost.

"So are you going to introduce me to your friends?" She asked excitedly, gesturing to the Naruto gang. We all shared worried looks before Nicole looked up at her with a smile.

"Um mom this is Nathan, Serena, Stefan, Kaleb, and Gabe. Uh, this is my mother." Nicole introduced, awkwardly. She smiled widely waving at the group who all gave a weak attempt of a wave.

"What're you doing here?" Rylee asked looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"The divorce was finalized, and I wanted to see my girls... and boys," she spoke the last two words slowly looking around slightly. "Where's Chace?"

"Daycare," Sandra answered simply. My mother gave a tight lipped smile, and nodded as an awkward silence fell over the group. "Um, we were just about to head that way if you wanted to tag along?" She offered, and I immediately elbowed her with a glare.

"No, I wouldn't want to intrude, ill just meet you back at the house, nice meeting you." She gave a final smile to everyone before retreating out the exit of the Grill. The second she was gone Sandra smacked my arm.

"What was that?!" She exclaimed. I hissed in pain gripping my arm.

"What was that?" I repeated flicking her forehead. Sandra only rolled her eyes.

"Don't touch me." She mocked with an expectant look, waiting for my response.

"Oh, that." I spoke boredly picking up a fry from the bowl in front of us.

"Yeah, that." Sandra took the food from my hand and threw it behind her. I scowled, but before I could respond Naruto did.

"Who was that?" He asked confused.

"My mother, pay attention." I snapped, glaring at him before looking off at the crowded restaurant/bar.

"Don't mind her, she's just all pissy cause her own mother like's Cass better than her." Mikel teased. I turned my glare towards him as I kicked his leg from under the table.

"Shut it!" I snapped, crossing my arms.

"Her mother likes you better than her own daughter?" Sakura asked pointing from me to Sandra then back to me.

"She wouldnt if Harmony actually tried being nice to the woman who gave birth to her." I rolled my eyes at Sandra's comment, refusing to make eye contact with anyone.

"Whatever, we need to go pick up Chace." I grumbled, tossing a twenty onto the table before exiting the establishment. My mother was back in town... Oh joy. -_-

Nicole's POV

The car ride was awkwardly to say the least. The Naruto boys all ride with Cassie like usual while the rest of us ride with Harmony in her mustang. And being that Harmony is in one of her moods the car ride was not pleasant.

"Hey, there Harmony, you here for Chace?" The lady behind the giant desk asked. Harmony and I had gone in to pick up Chace while the others waited outside. Me being the only one who dared to be in the short tempered girls presence.
