AN: Hello all ^^ Thank you for those who gave this story a read, I hope you're sticking with me. Many thanks to my new follower, here's the next chapter! This one was a bit more fun to write, and since my first chapter sucked so bad, here's a (slightly) better second chapter. Please enjoy!

Felix's POV-
My stomach flipped as I read the gruesome reports on the case. I looked up to Barely, who stood before me, small, barely noticeable smirk on his face. I narrowed my eyes. "What's the catch?" I growled. I didn't like Barely; he was a stuck-up jack ass who liked to see people suffer. I'd just joined the FBI, so I was suspicious as to why he would give me such a puzzling case. He shrugged, saying, "I don't know what you mean. I just figured why not. Plus, if you screw up, I get the case. So it's a win for both, right?" he added a wolfish laughter that I hated. "Just shut up," I growled, glancing over the reports a second time. I think I was going to be sick; if the description of the cases wasn't enough than the photos certainly were.
I'm Felix Kejilburg, a young newly-appointed FBI agent. Sitting next to me in a white car was Agent Barely, and I hated his guts and vise versa. He begrudged me for my young age, and ever since I've arrived he's lived to make my life a living hell, even searching me up to discover every little secret of mine to use against me. Today the FBI just got called in and told that this case had gone to far and that the police were too 'incompetent' to finish the job; but, unfortunately Barely, who was one of the senior officers of the FBI, couldn't be on the case because of his last experience with working with the police. I tried asking around, but all I got were bits and pieces about a 'detective' and 'chickens'. It was really weird.
But soon I got enough information to guess that Barely had a bad experiences with a detective. Well, at least that's one thing we have in common; I hope that detective wasn't working this case. I grimaced, not realizing that we had stopped until Barely slammed the door behind him. I jumped slightly, scowling at Barely's back before unbuckling my own seat belt and exiting a moment later. My attention first followed Barely's movements until he got lost in a crowd of police officers. I let out a sigh, my eyes flickering around the crime scene until I found two unoccupied officers. I strolled up to them, flashing my badge. "Hey, I'm FBI Agent Felix Kejilburg. I was wondering if you could fill me in on the details of the case." I saw that the male- a young man around my age with dark brown hair and sea-green eyes- stiffened up at the mention of FBI. "Ah- uh- Agent er- well th- the thing is - er.." the man stuttered, only stopping when the female next to him gave him a sharp gaze and slapped her hand over his mouth. She was a pretty redhead with dark brown eyes and sprinkles of freckles over her nose. He hair was tied in a tight ponytail and she smiled.
"I apologize for my colleague's behavior. I'm Officer Red Jones, and this is Officer James Smith. We would be pleased to help you." She spoke in a brusque and official tone, and I nodded my approval. She lowered her hand to her side from her companion's mouth, and smiled with a tilt of her head. I smiled back appreciatively. "Right, well, let's start with when the body was found and by whom." I said.
"The body was found at approximately 2:30 this morning by a patrolling officer. His name is Russ Money, and usually worked the streets from 2:00 to 3:30, due to the events happening lately."
"Who was patrolling before him?"
"That would be-" Jones was cut of as a shout was overheard. I turned to spot Barely waving his arms in a motion to come near me. He was standing by with an older man and another guy who had his back faced toward me. It wasn't until I muttered an apology and started toward the group that he turned toward me; all I saw was plain, white mask, with a 'poker face' drawn on it. Shaggy brown hair covered the top of his head, and I could see where the mask ended lips and pale skin. I nearly doubled back in surprise, but I continued resolutely towards them, deciding not to show any signs of concern over the mask. Wasn't my business.
