The Big Move

LEVY'S P.O.V.

It was finally Graduation Day, and all of the girls in the house were in tears. I stood in front of the full length mirror, taking in the sight it held before me. My hair was down and my bangs were tucked loosely behind my ears, but some of the wisps that had escaped caressed my tear stained face. My makeup was neutral, and my lips were a pale rose color. The graduation gown swallowed me, and my cap was a little too big.

"Levy?

"Hey Lu-chan.

"You look nice Levy-chan.

"This thing swallows me, Lu-chan.

"No, it doesn't, it follows the curves of your body nicely Levy-chan.

"Thanks Lu-chan.

"Are you guys ready?

"No...

"Well, ready or not, it's Graduation and we have to go...

"Erza-san's right guys.

"We know....."

We all got into my car, and as I cranked her up, I felt tears slip again.

"Levy?

"I'm fine.

"Are you-

"Yeah, totally fine. Let's get going."

When we got there, the boys were all waiting for us. Gajeel looked at me and hugged me. He held my hand as parents came in to take pictures. The girls had brought our camera, and we all took turns taking pictures of each other. We asked Mira to take a picture of all of us in it.

"Alright guys, Graduation's about to start."

And after that, it's all a blur. I cried, and when I heard my name, I wiped my face, straightened myself out, and took my diploma. I was no longer a high school student, from now on, I was on my own.

That's a lie, Levy. You have your friends and Gajeel. You have a future with your friends and the boy you love. You won't be alone.

"Hey, you ok?

"Yeah, I was just thinking.

"You sure, shrimp?

"Yeah.

"Alright. Do you wanna go out and celebrate with the others later? I think they want to go to the lake.

"Sounds great.

"Hey, um.... I was thinking during graduation too.... and I was wondering, if maybe you'd like to move in with me and Mike this year... get settled in early, and you don't have to go to college right away, we could spend some time together before taking up classes and stuff...

"Sounds good to me. Do you think we could make our senior trip to Iceberg? We could ask the others if they'd like to go with us, and y'know, maybe move our stuff in during the trip.

"Yeah, I'll ask the guys, and you ask the girls.

"Alright. I'll ask them right now. Hey guys! Come here a moment.

"What is it, Levy-chan?

"Well, Gajeel and I were wondering if you and the guys would like t come to Iceberg with us for our senior trip.

"Yeah, Mike said he'd like to see you guys again. And Iceberg isn't all that bad during the summer, the place has a lot of lakes to chill in.

"Sounds great! Juvia is in.
