In an isolated town lays a thought to be abandoned victorian manor with a dark history. In current days teachers would tell the children of the legends from that house and many many people stay away from this manor. In a high school a teacher was asked to tell the greatest legend of all. "Sir! Can you tell us about The Boy Drenched In Blood?". The teacher chuckled and sat on his desk, Folding his arms. "Of course..Many years ago a family lived in the abandoned house, They were strange people who never stepped out of the house. It was believed that there was a married couple and two children. A young girl and a boy. On a dark gloomy night, There was reports that house had went up in flames and that pained screeches could be heard within the house but people were too scared to see what was going on. Infact the only person to get close was the chief of police. He was a bit away from the house, In his own words he said that the front door had flew open as soon as he stepped foot on the property. A boy was stood in the doorway, He had glowing eyes, One ice blue and the other blood red. The boy was drenched in blood. The chief obviously, Taken aback from the sight had gotten away as fast as he could. For the next few years after that incident, The chief had went insane, Saying he 'saw a monster' and he would say 'the boy drenched in blood' over and over. The house that had went up in flames was restored by the public and people say that the boy still resides there..People say that the pained screeches belonged to his family and that he had killed them. There's loads of theories but is anyone brave enough to go to the manor? No..". The children in the class listened carefully to the teacher, Everything the teacher was saying had happened but had been named a legend. The teacher then cleared his throat and looked to his students. "Woud any of you think you are brave enough?". He raised an eyebrow, Waiting for a response. There was a moment of empty silence within the class which seemed to last forever till the sound of someone raising their hand ended that silence. The teacher looked to the one who had raised their hand, A young boy sitting at the back of the class who was named Joshua Brooks. He was around the age of 17 and was quite tall. Having Light blonde hair and slight tanned skin, He had emerald green eyes and usually wore things like skinny jeans and sweaters. The teacher cleared his throat and smiled awkwardly. "Ah Mr Brooks..Of course..". Joshua let his hand rest on his lap once more and scoffed. "Sorry sir but..What the hell is that supposed to mean?". As he spoke he had leaned forward, Leaning on his table. The teacher closed his eyes and pushed his glasses up as he leaned off of his desk. A few other children in the class sniggered and snorted, Making Joshua lose his temper. He stood up from his seat, His eyebrow twitching in annoyance. "What? Do you think I'm 'not brave enough'? It's just a stupid story a crazy guy made up!". The class yet again fell into an awkward silence, Joshua though continued to glare at the teacher, Awaiting a response. Finally the teacher scoffed then adjusted his red tie. " I'm not saying anything Mr Brooks now I suggest you calm yourself down otherwise I won't offer you an opportunity to be out of school..". This instantly silenced the angered boy, He sat back down in his seat and rolled his eyes. "Go on...". After a moment the teacher sighed and sat in his own chair. "I was going to offer that you spend one or two weeks in this manor as a...School project if you must..What do you say? I shall supply anything needed..". The school bell then rang, Signalling the end of the school day. All of the students apart from Joshua had stood up, Gathered their things and left. Meanwhile Joshua sat in his seat, Tapping his chin as he thought. The teacher grumbled as he began to gather his things as well then looked to Joshua. "Well?". Joshua blinked then looked up to the teacher, A grin spreading across his lips. "Sure thing Mr A..I'll prove all you idiots wrong". As he said this he had stood up and slung his backpack over his left shoulder then laughed. The teacher breathed out then nodded. "Alright when would you like to star-". He was soon cut off by Joshua. "Tonight". Joshua said simply. The teacher was taken by surprise then chuckled. "Well alright but I won't be able to get those supplies till tomorrow..If you'll last?". Joshua then snorted and shrugged his shoulders, Walking towards the door to leave. "I think I'll survive sir..See ya later Mr A..". He then walked out the door, Chuckling to himself. The teacher stood for a moment then shook his head, Walking to the door. "That boy and his pride will get him into trouble some day...". He then made his way home. Meanwhile Joshua was walking to the manor, Having to go through the Gleniffer woods. He was whistling a quiet tune to himself till he finally reached the gate to the manor which was closed. He looked up to the tall old but pleasant building. Smiling to himself he scanned the gate then soon found a gap big enough for him to squeeze through, Which is what he did. Once he got through he dusted himself off then gazed at the manor once more. "Alright 'Boy Drenched In Blood'...Come on out and play..". He then smirked to himself as he walked up the steps of the porch and looked to the front door, Noticing it was an easily broken lock, He looked to his left and picked up a rock. Hitting it against the lock which then broke off and hit the ground with a clang. Throwing the rock away he then pushed the door open slowly and stepped into the house. He gazed at his surroundings then closed the door behind himself. "Woah..Nice..". Half smiling to himself, He dumped his backpack by the door and cleared his throat. "Hey! Who ever's here better come out now!". He spoke almost sarcastically then shook his head, Chuckling then walking through a door which led to the living room. The room was large and filled with furniture, Couches, A table and a few bookshelves. Books were scattered over the floor which was dusty and the whole room infact had looked like not a single bit of cleaning had been done for years. Joshua made a disgusted face then moved over to the couch, Patting the cushion which made a cloud of dust form. He coughed for a moment then sat down. "Just gross...". Sighing he took out his phone then scrolled through his facebook. The house was silent, Dead silent, It seemed like nothing was going to happen for a while, Or so that's what Joshua thought.
