"I can't!" I hissed at Boyd as he offered to take me to where he works, the ice skating rink, and let me skate for free but I had to get home and deal with some business. I quickly pat Boyd's shoulder and gave him a slight smile. "Next time! I just really have to go!" I spoke fast before patting his shoulder one last time and jogging towards my car.

As a witch, there were times where (in great need) the ancient dead witches would speak to me. They were like voices in my head that multiplied until all I could hear was a jumble of words being spoke and none stood out. Like when you went in the crowded cafeteria. It got annoying to say the least, considering that it would only get louder and more persistent until I sat down and handled their stupid ancient dead witchy needs.

The car ride to my house was uneventful and full of me talking to the voices in my head in a desperate attempt to shut them up. Don't get me wrong I love being a witch but being the only Rose family witch left was becoming a struggle.

"Hush will you?" I hissed out softly and sent a glare to my rearview mirror and glared at myself. The voices are fairly annoying and are really starting getting into my very last nerve.

"They need you! They need you!" The voices chanted together for once. I rolled my eyes as I took the sharp turn onto my driveway and looked at my slightly ajar door.

I narrowed my eyes and quickly grabbed my bag and jumped out of the car and started towards the porch. I saw Felix, my beast of a dog, laying on his stomach and growling and whining at the now opened door.

"Felix?" I eyed the beast before looking back at the door, who is in my house? I clenched my fists and swallowed the lump of fear in my throat. The silence of the surrounding forest was putting me on edge and I could feel my powers pulsating in my veins.

"Scarlett?" A voice spoke from behind me. I whirled around and flung my hand out towards them, sending a pulse of energy that pushed the owner of the voice back into a tree. My eyes locked onto the familiar brown ones of Stiles and I gasped loudly.

"Stiles!" I yelled out and jogged down the porch steps and stood over Stiles' body. He looked up at me with wide eyes.

"W-what the hell was that?" Stiles yelled, jerking himself forward and grabbing a hold onto my shoulders. Stiles started to shake my shoulders as a excited smile took over his face. "That was awesome!" Stiles yelled and pulled himself up to stand in front of me.

I stared at Stiles with wide and disbelieving eyes. He thought that was cool, although yeah it was cool, most people don't think it's cool because they are scared. It was almost obvious as I thought about it. Stiles was friends with Scott and there was something supernatural about him.

"Uhh," I trailed off as I stared at the boy in front of me. "Don't tell anyone," I said, my eyes stayed locked with his. Oh god if he told Scott I do- "Oh my god! Don't tell Scott!" I set my hands on his upper arms and looked at him. "Please! Stiles!" I beg and I felt my eyes start to water as panic took over my senses. If Scott found out he would most likely kill me.

"Woah, why not?" Stiles asked and I let out a small whine and shook his shoulders.

"Because he'll hurt me!" I yell pushing the brown haired boy away from me.

"Why would Scott hurt you?" Stiles asked, god he doesn't get it does he?

"He's a werewolf Stiles! Have you ever dealt with them before? I-oh god you're going to tell him and he's going to kill me!" I whine as I fall to the ground a soft cry leaving my lips. Felix sat near me keeping his eyes on Stiles. I curled into a ball on the ground as I cried, I was acting like a baby but to be honest I was never threatened with chance of death before.

I felt arms wrap around me and I looked at Stiles who was now attempting to comfort me. "Hey, hey, hey I won't tell him," Stiles spoke and I just stared at him before wiping my eyes and nodding towards the house.

"Y-you want a coffee?" I asked quietly, Stiles just nodded and helped me stand up before we both entered my house. My hands still shook but I steered Stiles towards the kitchen and had him sit at the island in the middle of the kitchen as I went to make him a coffee.

"If you don't mind me asking, what are you?" Stiles asked as I started up my coffee maker and measuring the grinds and such. I turned to look back at him for a moment before sending a sly smile towards him.

"I'm the last Rose Witch in existence. The most powerful witch to walk the earth."
