Do you even care- finn harries

"Great." I mumbled, rolling my eyes.

"What now?" Finn asked impatiently as he gave me a tired look.

"Nothing." I turned around and marched back to the kitchen, hiding my anger.

He invited some friends over. He, Jack, Louis, Ben and some others were supposed to film a video about the Rickshaw Run. He just told me about this project yesterday, and they are leaving in three days. And of course it's not enough that he leaves for two or three weeks, now he doesn't even want to spend the time we have left before his trip with me? Amazing.

He has been very weird lately. Out all days and nights, "working". And when he was home, he rather sat by the table, edited videos and drank coffee than spent time with me. He barely talked to me, if it wasn't "Kate, bring me this. Kate, bring me that. Go and buy some food, the guys are coming over." That was so annoying! And all I wanted was to spend time with my boyfriend. I started to realize that quitting my job, just because Finn said that I didn't have to work, it's enough that he does, was a very stupid idea.

Yet I did what he asked me to. I just couldn't risk losing him for that kind of things. And then, of course, SHE was in the picture.

Her name was Jessica, Finn's college friend. Tall, blond, brown-eyed beauty that now worked as a model and actress. Apparently they were really close friends in college. And now, since they both lived in London, they worked on some film content together. He called her for 'a friend', but I knew that she had a thing for him.

I put my homemade chocolate cookies on a plate and took them with me to the living room. Jack was here already, and they were waiting for the rest of the guys to show up.

"Here you go boys." I smiled as I put the plate on the table.

"Thanks Kate, you're the best." He mumbled with a cookie already in his mouth. "Mmm, those are delicious."

"Kate, I can't eat chocolate. I'm on a healthy diet, remember?" Finn turned to me angrily.

"Since when?" I was both angry and confused.

"Since yesterday. Do you ever listen to me? I want to get in shape before the Rickshaw Run." Now I could see that he was extremely mad at me.

"I would listen, but you never speak to me!" I raised my voice. I had enough of him yelling at me all the time.

"Finn, c'mon..." Jack put one hand on his brother's shoulder in attempt to calm him down.

In that moment, I heard Finn's ringtone. He picked up, completely forgetting about me and our fight. As usual.

"Oh, hi Jess! Hey, I'm..."I quickly grabbed the phone from his hand, just in time to hear her say in a sexy voice "...so, do you want to come over tonight?"

"Hi Jessica, this is Kate." I looked at Finn with pure hate. "Finn will gladly come over tonight, considering the fact that he's single now."
