Season 2 Part 24

Ringgg.

The bell rang, signaling it was break time. Me and Ell immediately made our way to Plat 9 34, buzzing with the festive energy of Grad Day. Jen, Ros, Seung, Han, Minho, I.N, Changbin, and Hyunjin followed behind, probably drawn by curiosity about the activities.

A colorful banner hung across the stage, listing the events for the day.

I glanced at Ell, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Alright" I said smiling, "let's do it."

Jen and Seung, walking a few steps behind us, exchanged a subtle look that I couldn't quite put. Ros, Han, and I.N headed off toward the registration table for Band of the Day, while Minho, Changbin, and Hyunjin were already plotting their K Stars performance.

Prof. Lia stood at the front of the stage, clipboard in hand. "Make sure you sign up, everyone. And remember, only registered participants will be allowed on stage!"

Ell scribbled our names down eagerly. "I can't wait to sing our song!" she said.

I chuckled. "What love song are you on?"

She tilted her head, thinking. "Something that'll get the crowd singing along....How about...Yellow? By Coldplay"

My eyes lit up "You like that song too?!"

She grinned "Yeah! Glad were on the same page~"

Jen and Seung signed up next, apparently for Duo Stars as well. I noticed them sharing a quick, barely noticeable smile before looking away. Something was going on there, but I decided not to pry.

As Prof. Lia called out the remaining participants for the other events, I felt a thrill of anticipation. Grad Day always had this magical energy, the mix of nerves, excitement, and the kind of chaos that only came when a whole university came together for fun.

Ell leaned into me. "We'll have SOOOO much fun, right?"

"Always," I replied, squeezing her hand. "Let's show them what we've got."

I could hear Seung and Jen rehearsing quietly nearby, their harmonies soft but already impressively in sync. Meanwhile, Minho glanced toward Ros every so often, his face betraying a mix of nervousness and admiration that only I seemed to notice.

"Alright, Duo Stars up first!" Prof. Lia's voice rang out again. "Which groups is ready to take the stage first?"

I took a deep breath, looking down at Ell. She gave me a reassuring smile, and just like that, the nerves melted away. Together, we were ready to shine...or at least, to make a memory worth laughing about later.

"Lets go" We both step onto the stage.

Prof. Lia cheered "Give a round of applause for the group..Lylees!!" She read our group name out loud.
