Please keep in mind that this is a first draft which inspired a prequel that is currently being written. Of Stone and Spirit is the first book in the series. The lore that seems to change and escape me in this book is being cemented in its prequel.
That being said, I do encourage you to read the prequel first. Blood and Stone is headed for a major re-write. This version may not line up exactly with the prequel or subsequent books. Please keep this in mind as you read.
