He wakes up in his cryogenic chamber, and looks around while the door is wide open. So are the other chambers. "Mom..." No response "...Dad...Hayley?" Still no response. As he gets out of the cryogenic chamber the bunker room was some what lit up, and the hatch was opened. He gets out, and walks towards the opened hatch. Then he opened the hatch more, and there was the light from the sun blinding him for a little bit. As he got his eyes used to the bright light he said "Oh my gosh..." While looking at his surroundings. There was so much debris, and radioactive spots. He whistled and said "Come on Mya...Let's go." As he started to walk with the dog.
They ventured on towards there neighborhood near the bunker...Well used to be. They both went into their house which was almost completely destroyed. They search the house for supplies "Mya...Stay here imma go look for some supplies...Hopefully" as Thomas went upstairs he fount a set of keys on the floor. So he picked them up and went into his parents room cause he new what the keys were for. Thomas moved the bed over, and he finds that the safe is already opened. He searches the safe for something useful...But finds nothing. He made his way back to Mya and said "Let's get going Mya." Then he pats her, and walks out into the wasteland.
As they came outside into the wasteland he remembered that he had a place that he had put his motorcycle in before the bombs fell. So he walked into the garage, and pushed some debris over that was blocking the hatch where his motorcycle was. He fount the key he needed on the key ring and opened the box that showed buttons to get the motorcycle out of the hatch in the ground. "Alright...Moment of truth..." Then he pressed the button, and the hatch opened and the motorcycle slowly started to raise up from the hatch. "Yes!" Then he smiled and looks at Mya, and realizes that..."How will Mya sit with me on the motorcycle?" Then he remembers that his dad had a sidecar that he used on his motorcycle before. "Let's see if we this can work." Then he walks over to the sidecar and slowly carries the sidecar over to the motorcycle. He attempts to attach it to his motorcycle, and is successful.
"This will have to do for now Mya." Then Mya barks. He looks down in the hatch and finds a gallon of gasoline, and puts it in the motorcycle. Then he sits on the motorcycle and says "Mya get up on the sidecar and stay." So Mya listened and jumped up on the sidecar, and sat down. Then he started up his motorcycle, and drove out. He looks out in the distance and see's a town, and starts driving towards it.
As they approached the town there was two guards guarding. "Hey! Put your hands up boy!" Yelled a deep voiced man. "Sir...We don't want any trouble." Replied Thomas as he got off his motorcycle while holding his hands up. "Shut up! State your business here." Demanded one of the guards. Before Thomas could respond he was greeted by a horrible creature "Watch out boy! Behind you!" Said the guard. Then Thomas looks behind him, and seen the most terrifying thing of his life...It was a Human. But it wasn't like any other Human. It had bite marks on it's face, and on it's arms as well. Then the infected pushed Thomas down to the ground, and Thomas started to struggle by trying to get the infected off of him. Then the guard aimed, and took his shot by killing the infected. Blood splattered all over Thomas, and Mya. "Are you ok? Did you get bit?" "Bit?" Thomas said "No sir! I didn't" then Thomas passed out unexpectedly.
