Prologue
Bea's POV
Sun's in my face but what is the sense of waking up. I get up reluctantly . Same old thing every single day except today I was going to a new school."Mom are you up?" I asked knocking on her door. "Why did you wake me up I'm not working today." She said harshly. Well there goes five minutes of my time. It's already 6:00 am and the bus comes at 6:30. I rush to get ready and slip out of the house as I'm running down the stairs the bus flies down the street. "Shit." I continue going to the bus stop. I phone my mom. "Mom I missed the bus, can you give me a ride?" "No today's my day off." She hangs up the phone on me. As I think what I'm going to do a nice lady pulls up beside me and ask if I need a ride. I thank her and hop in. As I hop in I notice someone in the front seat is the cutest guy I've ever seen. The woman looks a little old I wonder if that's his grandmother. We rode to school in silence. I thanked the sweet older lady and hop out.
"Hey that's just my grandmother Rebecca. Umm what's your name?" The boy from the car says. "Oh hey, I'm Bea." I reply trying to sound cool and not freak out. "Jake, nice to meet you." He say just before a girl calls his name. He turns back to me and says I'll see you around as he walks to the girl who was calling him. As they walk away she turns around and gives me a death glare. First day of school and already make enemies not smart Bea. As I stepped through the front gate I realized I had no idea where the office was so I spotted two people close to me and walk over to them. "Uh hey, I'm new here and I was wandering if you could point me to the main office." I asked sounding confident but not too confident didn't want to scare them away. "Oh sure. Follow us we'll show you." The boy said while the girl next to him nodded. I followed them and in no time we were at the main office. "Here's your stop my lady." I laughed at his bluntness and said thanks to both of them. They look very alike I wondered if they were siblings. I talk to the people in the office and got my schedule and tried to find my first class. I found class 206 just in time as the bell rang for English.
