It was her chance.

She should've said it, but lost it.

All this time, Sienna had gathered her thoughts and bravery to tell him. But she knew, deep inside, that he didn't want to know.

He didn't want to make love, laugh, live, stay up all night, dares, do the most random things, and go on midnight adventures. But mostly, he didn't want to spend his life with her.

Stupid, Sienna thought. Freaking dumb.

It felt it was the time to tell him, she felt the need to speak about her feelings. She felt courageous, and brave.

Just as Sienna was about to speak, she lost all that courage and suddenly got insecure and nervous.

As she sat down by herself, she could see the opportunity slipping away.

In defeat, she run fingers through he hair and her shoulders slumped.

She had a chance, but it went straight out the window. Sienna had given up trying. But there were other reasons to this situation.

She knew that he didn't think of her in that kind of way. Well, at least she thinks so.

After all, he never noticed her.

Now, you're probably thinking:

Finley noticed her!

They spoke, hung out together, accidentally touched each other, he called her cute, made eye contact-- of course Finley noticed her.

You're right.

He did notice her.

But, he didn't truly notice her.

He didn't notice the way she'd do things just to grab his attention.

He didn't notice how her eyes went a dark shady blue whenever he was accompanied by another girl. Then another girl. And then another. And so on.

He didn't notice how she would dress up just for him (only on special occasions) and put on makeup, which she never does.

He didn't notice the little specks of freckles on her nose.

He didn't notice how nervous she was whenever they spoke.

But mostly, he never noticed how kind, daring and beautiful she was.

He never noticed how smart she was.

He never noticed how carefree and loving she was.

He never noticed her before, so why now?

Why would you have the need to lead someone on?

Why come out of freaking nowhere, because at first you were just a piece of art to admire from afar.

Trust me, it hurts.

A lot, actually.

When will you notice that I am

         falling

                    for

                         you,

                                 hard?

Even the very small things, characteristics, and personality of a person.

And maybe that's why he never truly noticed her--
