chapter five

Lewis put his arm around me in an attempt to balance me but I just crashed to the ground.'ahhhhhhh.owwww!' I screamed in pain as I crashed downwards. 'Hang on. I'll go get a wheelchair! ' lewis said as he ran off.
'No! Lewis dont leave me here! Please!' I cried back to him.
He ran back over and picked me up like I was a baby then shrieked in pain, almost dropping me. 'Your hand let me see!'
'No.im fine' he started running back to his room. I opened the door and he gently set me down on his bed whilst he ran to the kitchen and grabed the medical kit. I took of my bloodied top. When Lewis came back and saw my stomach he looked like he was going to puke.

I had blood everywhere with red welts scattered around. My cuts were pussing and there was dirt and dust stuck to the fast-drying blood.'right' lewis mumbled then opened the kit and retrived some antiseptic wipes. 'This will sting!' He told me tentively. I nodded in repliy and held on to the metal framework of the bed tightly. The wipes were agony but after my wounds were clean I felt much better. My entire body waist to chest was coverd In bandage and then lewis sat back on his heels.

'Done. They should be fixed in a week or so'
'Thank you lewis. I owe you big time. Let me see your hand!'
'Its fine really. Just a little cut'
I grabed his arm and brought it round so I could see it. There was blood everywhere and , worst of all, the knife was still stuck in there.
'Holy crap lewis! How could you say this was nothing?
'It hurts' he said painfuly.
'Hang on' I said and griped the handle as best as I could.' Three, two, ' and I pulled it out. Lewis cried out in pain and then looked relived. I bandaged his hand after I cleaned it, then we just sat there, I looked into his eyes which were staring into mine. His beautiful chocolate brown eyes. ' Im so sorry lewis, this is all my falt'
'Dont worry about it' he mumbled
'Thank you. You're a true friend'
He leaned in looking into my eyes with a deep concentration. 'Your so beautiful'
'So everyone keeps saying 'I mumbled back.
' Whats happening to use lewis?'
'No idear'
'Are we going to die?'
' No. I wont let him hurt you again.'
'Thank you'
' which is why we cant do this' he said moving backwards.
'I know'
'Whats your name?'
'No idea you pick one'
'Violet. After youre eyes'

And he drew me into a hug.

I knew I was going to survive this. For lewis. I would survive this so that one day we could be together even if that ment being beaten.

For lewis I would endure all the punishments in the world.
