Chapter 31.

*Next Morning* *Normal P.O.V.*

I wake up and see Dylan's still sleeping. I get up and walk to the kitchen. I let Lilly out of her cage and bring her outside. I watch her and after about five minutes I let her back inside. I hear Dylan's phone ringing on the counter. I pick it up and answer it.

Hello? I answer.

Hey, um is Dylan there? A girl replies.

He's sleeping still. Who is this? I ask.

Kara, he got a puppy from me. She replies.

Oh, okay. Why do you want to talk to him then? I ask.

To see how he's doing with the puppy. She answers.

Well, everything's fine. I say.

How would you know? She asks.

The puppy was a gift to me from Dylan. I reply.

Oh, who are you? His sister? She asks sounding snotty.

I'm his fiance. I reply.

Well I slept with him. She announces.

Oh really, when? I ask.

Yesterday. She replies.

Seriously? I ask my voice shaky.

Yup, he asked me if he could pay me more. And I said like what? And then he kissed me and yeah. It happened. I would have stopped him if I knew he was engaged. She says.

Okay, thanks. Bye. I reply weakly and then hang up.

I back up against the wall and slide to the floor. I put my head in my hands and start to cry. Lilly licks my arm so I pull her into my lap. I pet her back while I silently cry. I hear Dylan walk in and he quickly runs up to me. He pulls me to him, Lilly jumps off my lap and runs off. Dylan hugs me but I pull away and push him back.

What's wrong? He asks.

Why did you do it? I reply.

Do what? He asks clueless.

Cheat. I say.

I never cheated. He says shaking his head.

Yeah you did, with that Kara girl. I reply.

What are you talking about? He asks.

Stop acting innocent! I say my voice rising.

I seriously do not know what you are talking about, I never cheated. He replies.

Why are you lying? I ask.

I'm not! Why do you think I cheated? He replies.

That Kara girl called your phone, I answered it. She told me you slept together. I say.

Oh, why? He asks.

Maybe she wanted me to know what you did! I say practically yelling.

He looks at me sadly.

I didn't do that, I never would. He replies. 

Why would someone lie about that? I ask.

I couldn't tell you, but I didn't cheat. He says.

I shake my head.

I don't know what to believe. I reply.

Trust me, I didn't cheat. He says.

I stand up, he does too.

Dylan, I don't know. I say.

You're just going to believe her over me? He asks.

It's not like that. I reply.

You don't even know her, and you know me more than anyone else. Please believe me. He says.

Okay, I'm really trusting you. I reply.

Thank you, I really love you. He says.

I love you too. I reply.

He pulls me into his arms and I smile. We stand there hugging for a while.

I'm sorry. I mumble into his shoulder.

It's okay, you had every right to be upset. He replies.

*Dylan's P.O.V.*

I hold Andrea in my arms. Why would that girl lie like that? I don't know her well at all, but she did seem nice. I shake my head. I'll call her and talk to her about this, and make it right. I pull away and look at Andrea.

I'm going to call Kara and talk to her about this. I announce.

She nods and I pick up my phone and look at my recent calls. I click on her number. She answers.

Hello? Kara answers.

Hey, it's Dylan. I reply.

Oh, hi.  She says.

Why did you tell my fiance you slept with me, when you didn't? I ask.

Dylan, it happened. Remember? She replies.

No, it didn't. I say.

Stop denying it. She replies.

Oh my god, I did not sleep with you. I would never do that. I exclaim.

Whatever Dylan. I really don't care. She replies.

It did not happen. No chance. I say.

Whatever. She replies.

Stay out of my life, I don't even know you. I don't just sleep with people I don't know. I say calmly.

Yes you did! She yells.

No, I didn't. You've got some problems going on in that head of yours. I answer.

Whatever, I'll leave you alone. She replies.

You better. I say.

Yup, bye. She replies and hangs up.

*Normal P.O.V.*

Dylan walks up to me.

So, what happened? I ask.

She kept insisting that I slept with her, when I know I didn't. He replies.

What an idiot. I say.

I know. Dylan replies.

I pet Lilly's head.

Dylan, I'm bored. I say.

How about I take you out. He replies.

Yay! I exclaim.

I run to our room and get ready. I curl my hair and put on a little make up. When I'm done I walk to the car. He drives us to T.G.I Friday's. We get a table and a waitress comes up to our table.

Hello, I'm Jamie and I'll be your server tonight. Lets start out with drinks. She says.

Um, I'll have Pepsi. I say.

Make that two. Dylan replies.

Two Pepsi's coming soon. She say's.

She walks away.

Thanks for this Dylan. I say.

No problem baby. He replies.

I smile and he smiles back.Jamie comes back with our drinks. I take a sip of mine.

Ready to order? She asks.

Yeah, could I get thirty oranges? Dylan asks.

I laugh and so does Jamie.

That's great. I say laughing.

Dylan smiles and we order our food. We eat and when we're done we pay. We walk out and to the car and Dylan drives us home. We walk inside and I walk to our room. Dylan takes care of Lilly. I change and lay down. Dylan comes in and we lay together. I cuddle into him and I fall asleep.
