Introduction.

When I was sitting in class when I got a message. I opened it to see a ugly face. Araya's face. "He fatass, get us some good food and bring it to the roof." 'Hmmm' I thought. I replied, 'get your own food you zoo animals.' Sent. "What did you call me!" He yelled in a rage. "Aw shit." I said as I got out of my seat. He went to punch me but I dodged it. "Woop, Ya missed." At that time the teacher grabbed him and took him to the office. He came back and asked if I was okay. "Yea, he couldn't even hit the broad side of a barn." And class continued. The bell rung for lunch. "Hey Arata!" Someone called. "What, I just wanna eat!" I said angered. "We wanted to ask if you wanna sit with us." A guy called Don asked. "No Imma eat and chill somewhere alone. Maybe some other time!" I said. I ate some curry and left. I went to the boy's bathroom. "Open direct link." When I spawned at the entrance point, I noticed I'm still a pig. When I started running I noticed some ruckus up some stares. I climbed up them and saw some women talking to a beauty with butterfly wings. She looked my way, I was startled, I fell backwards and down the stairs. She wasn't looking at me right? I thought to myself. "There's no way, Haha. What was I thinking." After that I ran to the game room. "Let's go. Extreme mode." I said with confidence. "Extreme mode active. Good luck." The system said. I grabbed the racket and started dominating. A little faster then before but nothing I can't handle. "Faster, I need to go faster!" I hit the ball into a bad spot and it bounced into a awkward position. "Damn it!" I said in a strain. I jumped as high as I could. I swung and barely missed. "So this is where you've been hiding!" A female's voice said. "Chiyu!? What are you doing here?" I asked surprised. "I heard about what happened in class today. Are you okay?" She asked worried. "Yeah, I'm okay. Hey how did Taku do in his Kendo tournament." I asked. "He won of course. Hey where are you diving from?" Chiyu asked. "Why would you like to know?" I asked. "Cause there is something I wanna give you." She said starting to sound angry. "I'm not telling." I said. "Fine, I'll fine you myself." She said flustered. She logged out and it dawned upon me what she was going t-. "Owwww, what the hell Chi?!" I grunted in pain. "Forced log out." She said with a triumphant look on her face. "You do realize this is the boy's bathroom right?"

When we got out without problem she started asking me why I provoked Araya like that. "I was feeling confidence." I said nonchalantly. "I know you used to be a great fighter, but the way you are now, you can't fight." She said sadly. "I'll be fine." I said sternly. "I'm not so weak that I need you to worry about me." "But-" "But nothing!" I said angered swinging my arms out I hit something and then I realized what I hit. Chiyu's basket. As soon as I knew I ran away. She was crying. "Damn it! Why do I always have to fuck things up with girls?! I'm so fucking useless!" I yelled at myself in anger.

When I was on my way home I ran into Taku. Another great friend and Chiyu's boyfriend. We all grew up with each other. Running, laughing, playing. Those were the days. I miss them. Anyway back to what I was saying. He was out for an evening jog, I bought some drinks and we talked.
"So I heard you won the Kendo tournament." I said. "That's right, the next one is regionals, everyone thinks I'm gonna win. But I'm worried." He said with a look of dismay. "You have a reason. Some of our kids are good. Footwork is solid, quick, strong strikes. If you're not careful, you'll lose." I said with a smile. "You're been busy, studying up, giving me the full scoop." He said surprised. "Hey, I can still scout talented fighters." I said with a chuckle. "Ahh, that was refreshing. Felt even better since you're the one who bought it for me." He said laughing. "Yea yea, laugh it up fucker, I paid 600 yen. For one. 1200 yen for two! Damn. I was stupid." I said angrily. "Hahaha, probably wasn't the best idea ever." He said laughing. "Hey I'm gonna take a few more laps. I'll see you later." He said as he started running. "Okay, see ya!" I yelled. I finished my drink, went home, ate, went to bed for I was tired.

The next day during lunch I did as I usually do. Eat, then open direct link. I go into the game room. "Holy shit, someone beat my score, Damn, I need to go faster." "Would you like to change your life?" A strange yet calming voice said. "If you would, meet me in the student lounge tomorrow during lunch." And just like that she was gone. "You know! Underclassmen can't enter there without a written invitation! Something tells me I'm gonna get screwed over in the next week."
