The bell rings as I woke up.
Bell ringing..
I open my eyes and the light from the ceiling headed my eyes in a white room. Someone open the cutains, she is wearing white.
"Good morning Kate!"
I look at her, she smiles. And then realize that she is a nurse, and I am in the hospital.
"Good Morning Darla. How are you?" I response.
Yes, she was Darla, my nurse while I was in the hospital.
"I am so happy for you Kate, what a strong girl. You made it, now you are a cancer free patient. And now, your time to go home." She said.
A smile in my face while she saying those words. Darla was so good to me. And I am now a cancer free patient. A new day for me, another beggining. Somehow ends for some matters.
"This is it, a fresh start". Then I hold Darla's hand and said "thank you so much Darla!"
And tears fall in my eyes.
My skin is still dry, some of my nails cracked and hair are like a new-born-baby hair. Well, all the cancer pantient know that. All that matters now is I am a cancer free now. One day I know that my skin will be fair as before, my nails will be clean and do some nail polish on it. And my hair will be back on its normal wave. But for now, I have to wear some fanshionable wig.
Preparing my things and get ready to go home.
Someone'sopen the door.
"Congrats Kate!" Shouted with joy.
It was my boyfriend Cristopher Richard and my best friend Ann Liam. My boyfriend who has a secret affair with my bestfriend. How did I knew that?!! Well i saw them kissing in this hospital room torridly. Maybe they thought that I was sleeping but I'm not.
Then I faked a smile. "Hi." I said.
Cristopher hug me. "i miss you honey," he whispered "i have something for you" he added.
He gave me a long pink wig.
"Wow! Thank you".
Ann hold my hand and she said "mom decided that you should stay first in our house. I am really happy kate!" While she glimps to Cristopher.
She sounded excited.

Yeah. My parents past away when I was 18, we owned a small coffee shop as my mom's business. And I was the one who run that small business when they died. But need to closed that shop for finacial reason, pull out all the money for my hospital bills and medicines.
**someones knocking the door
It was Philip Chan, a head of a Charity that helps the cancer pantients and I am onewho recieved a helping hand from the charity. He was 52 years old anyways.
"oh philip! Thank you for being here. I am so thankful for the help you handed me not just financially, thank you for the prayers". Then I hug me.

"You deserved this new life, live that 2nd life to the fullest, be good! Love yourself". Philip said. Then he gave me a money. "This is for your new start".
"No philip! This is too much". I gave back the money.
"Please accept this, please! Open up again the coffee shop so that you can start a good new life."
Then realized what he said. He is right! I dont have money to support myself. I accepted the money. "Dont worry philip, I'm gonna pay all of this. Thank you so much Philip." I said.

Then hugged Philip.
"Okay! I think I need to go, see you around kate!" He smiles.
I was really thankful that I met Philip, that I knew his charity. I dont know what will happen to me without them.

Then Ann said "shall we go? Mom is waiting."
"Sorry Ann, but i think it will be better if I will stay home, i really misses home".
"But kate...." She added.
I hold her hand "i will be okay Ann, dont worry."

We decided to go home and i will staying where I belong, in my home. I did not open up yet about the kissing issue of them. Coz all i wanted is to go home, relax. All i wanted for now is a worryless night. One day we will get there.
