Metallic Scent

she sits in her room, wondering, "why me?"

she thinks her only escape is her blade,

she stands there, mesmerized by the rouge colour spilling from her slit wrist,

basking in the metallic scent.

"what did i do?" she askes herself as she cries herself to sleep,

hugging her pillow as if its a life line,

she askes herself "is it really worth it?"

she wants to end it,

but is to scared too.

one afternoon,

after a fight with her mother and a harsh day at school,

she decides "enough is enough."

and sneaks away her mothers sleeping pills, and grabs a water bottle,

and rushes back to her room.

shes finally got her peace,

where she truely belongs,

in heaven, with her once lost ones.
