These are all quite terrible, I'll admit, but something about them strikes me at my core. Let me know what you think of these five poems.

Foggy Fields

Dense mist that never yields

Hiding black pits

Eternal death never quits

Stealing all who fall

Never to answer their call

Tumbling down 'til cold

Never touching bottom even when old

Don't fall down dark pits of sog

Hidden in fields of dank and chilly fog

Ocean waves

Break o'er the sharp rocks

Pound against looming cliffs

Disturbing deadly mermaids under merchant docks

Dragging down doomed skiffs

Singing sirens revel in the icy froth

Stealing away struggling sailors to the depths

They surrender to the freezing ocean-

Ocean waves

Halloween Forest

Gray bare branch

Creaking, hooting, howling chorus

Even makes ghouls blanch

Don't walk in the forest night

Lest the demons of dark

Catch your lost soul of light

And hide the glow in empty bark

They laugh at the dimming, despairing soul

As it strains toward fading gray moonbeams

Finally death takes everlasting toll

Again in the Halloween Forest

Haunted House of Light and Shadows

Creepy, creaky

Shadows linger in ev'ry corner

Bats hang from the ceiling

Black cats follow the bewitching white witch light

Silver moonbeams flow into ev'ry room, lighting rat eyes

Scurrying sounds of scritch scratch claws on floors

Ghouls shriek, ghosts scream, cats yowl and hiss

Witches brew in the basement

Run from this creepy, creaky Haunted House

Of Light and Shadows

Haunting Melody

Walking along a stormy beach

Salty breeze slapping skin

A siren's song my ears beseech

Haunting melody sweet as sin

Waves pound against this gray rock

Upon which I stand forlorn

As so many did on this lonesme dock

Haunting melody on the wind borne

Gales try to knock me from my perch

But none can sway me 'cept that song

More resounding than any hymm of church

Haunting melody lingering in this cold heart long

I take a step forward toward the cry

Another, another step to the roaring sea

Coming from the depths where lonely mermaids lie

Haunting melody takes me

Well, that's it. Please comment and tell which one is your favorite and which is the creepiest. Thanks!;)
