Chapter 15 innocent or guilty?

Amanda's POV:

I woke up the next morning even more
Nervous then I was with my trial. I was still upset from the trial, they were torturing me, she wouldn't let me finish my sentences.

I tried to shake it off and went into the shower to start getting ready for the day, when I got out nick was sitting on the bed waiting for me.

"Hey beautiful" he said giving me a quick kiss

"Hey handsome" I laughed

"Come on we better get going" he said

We got into the car and drove to the courthouse. Everyone was already there. But Reynolds wasn't there yet, he was probably still in his jail cell.

Then he walked in "hey sexy how are you" he said to me

"Hey don't talk to her" nick said trying to protect me

I looked away from Reynolds in disgust, sometimes I wish I could kill him, but I couldn't.

Reynolds went to the stands, the trail has began.

"Captain Reynolds explain what happened that night" his Lawyer said

"Well the detective, wanted to see me, she's always wanted to have relationship but she didn't want her squad to know. So we met at a bar and she told me to come into her apartment, and we had sex, I didn't rape her. Then she trashed her own apartment and I pretended to kidnap her, it was her idea to bring two of my friends, then she wanted to be tortured."

"Explain what happen to you in the jail cell"

"Well Amanda must have been mad at me so she came into the cell with a knife and stabbed me, she was dumb enough not to wear gloves, silly they could track her down"

"Thank you no further questions"

I couldn't believe what he was saying it was all a lie, I started to tear up. Hopefully Barba could be a help.

"So you say that detective Rollins wanted this?"

"That's correct"

"How could she have wanted it when she hated you, and like what she said yesterday she was already in a relationship"

"she wa-wanted to get away" you could hear the lieing in his voice

"Why would she want to get away when they were in love?"

"I don't know"

"You don't know? Ok you were jealous of her relationship and that's why you kidnapped her and raped her and tortured her with your friends is that correct?"

"N-n- I don't know"

"Hmm, and are you saying she wanted a rope burn, broken ribs, ankles, wrist and a concussion?"

"Yes she did"

"And she wanted to die 3 times on the way to the hospital because of those
Injuries"

"maybe"

"Reynolds explain to me how detective Rollins stabbed you, when she could have barley walked"

"She must have put all of her strength into it"

"She didn't have any strength, and she wasn't there the night of when you were stabbed."

"Exhibit B"

It was a security camera of Reynolds being stabbed, the man was in a hoddie and was wearing gloves, then you see another man coming in putting my DNA on it, then throwing away the knife

"Does that look like detective Rollins to you?"

"Yes"

"Where is her crutches? And her cast? She was on those when you were stabbed"

"I don't know"

"No further questions"

"You may step down captain Reynolds" the judge said

Barba turned around I mouthed you did good

Then it was Edward and Sams turn, and the two man who helped set up Reynolds stabbing. They were all on our sides testifying against Reynolds.

After they explained there stories we had to wait for the jury to come back.
We all walked out.

"Good job Barba" liv said

"Good thing Reynolds friends were all on our side, hopefully the jury is too" Barba said then he walked off

"come on Amanda lets go home"

The next day

Nick was on the phone, I didn't know who he was talking too. But he sounded kinda worried.

"That was liv jury's back"

I panicked, we quickly got to the courthouse were we sat back down in the seats and waited.

"On the count of kidnapping and assault how does he plead?"

"Guilty your honor"

"On the count of assaulting a police office how do we find?"

"Guilty your honor"

"We would like to thank New York for this trail, thanks the jury, get mr. Reynolds out of here, the jury is dismissed"

"We won Amanda" nick said

I gave him a hug

"Congrats consular" fin said

Barba gave a smirk and walked away.
