"Joseph, where did you put my phone." I was in his dorm room getting ready to go back to mine. "McKenzie why don't you just spend the night here?" I gave Joseph the side eye. "We both no why I can't stay here. Plus I have class in the morning and you have game to get ready for. Remember?" "Who the hell are you calling Jackass." He started walking towards me. I got scared quickly you don't have to walk towards me to have an argument. "I'm calling you a jackass and I'd advise you to back up before I call my boyfriend on you." I was really upset now. "Get your fucking boyfriend I don't care I'll beat his ass after I'm finish with you." He said that now in my face. Gosh if looks could kill I'll be casket sharp right now. Suddenly Joseph came downstairs and came to my rescue. Or at least I thought he did. "What the hell is going on here, Jake why you all in my girls face?" I looked at Jake with a smirk. "Man Joseph I didn't know she was yours, but you need to tell her to stop bumping into people. And when she do she needs too say excuse me." He looked at me and stared me down to my core. "Man this is some bullshit, y'all keep it down I'm going back to bed." Joseph said. What the fuck he was supposed to set this boy straight. My face looked hopeless. I looked at Jake and he looked kind of shocked as well. "I'm sorry for bumping into you" I said on the verge of tears. Shockingly he grabbed my arm and said. " I'm sorry as well I shouldn't have disrespect you. My mom raised me better than that. " I nodded my head and walked off. I was an emotional wreck "Wait a minute, what's your name?" "McKenzie." "Can I walk you to your dorm room?"

"I'm glad I met you that day." Jake said playing with my hair while I'm laying on his chest. "Baby promise that you will never leave me." Jake said, that came out the blue. "I promise Jake."
