The Baby Project

Chapter 6

The baby project was something Rockel and Kelly knew they would have to go through, if they wanted to raise their babies right. Kelly and Rockel went to Kelly's house. They both ran up to Kelly's room, shut the door and made sure they were not being heard. Kelly called the baby project hotline. She immediately knew this call was for the best of the children. " Baby project hotline, How may I help you, Vanessa speaking." Hi my name is Kelly, and I have a friend here named Rockel and were are having babies. We are 16 years old, and would like to enroll in the project." Okay, we are glad you came to us to help sort out your problems. Let me explain the baby project to you! First, we help you get all your appointments together. Next, we help you find jobs to help take care of the children. Lastly, we move you in to the baby project house. There will be other girls there with the same issues you have, so don't be shy! We can make you appointment for tomorrow at 3:00 so both of you can meet with our counselor." Vanessa utterd. "Thank you Vanessa you are saving both our lives." Kelly cried. "No problem, just make sure both of you show up with both of your baby fathers......" "Oh okay thanks." "No problem, goodbye!" Kelly put the phone down and looked at Rockel. "She said we need Kyle with us tomorrow at 3:00." "What are we going to do, we will never agree?" Well we can say we are going to sign the papers, and just meet him at the meeting place. Then he will be forced to stay." Okay, I guess." Rockel said scared. As the day went by they just looked up baby clothes, pregnancy scares, how to help speed along birth, and more. They became bestfriends , more like pregnant sisters. Something new for both of them. They both knew they weren't ready for kids, but they were ready to step up to the plate for their children.
