Joseph POV
Waking up I was quickly taken aback down by the soreness and pain that shot through my abdomen.
"Damn I hurt myself last night, but it was worth it." I muttered to myself. I looked around for Kate and saw that she was not in here. I heard a crash and screaming. I immediately flew out of bed and pulled on some sweats ignoring the pain and grabbed a crutch before making my way downstairs.
I got down and saw Kofi and Edd trying to pull Kate away from....Angela who was being held back by two of my cousins. I saw Angela's bags by the door, but I was wondering....why isn't she gone and why is Kate distracting her from leaving?
"Hey! Hey! What is going on down here?" I yelled causing everyone to jump at the sound of my voice and the chaos did cease.
"This bitch just attacked me! Get rid of her!" Angela exclaimed.
"Bitch I ain't going nowhere, that whore touched my daughter!" Kate exclaimed still trying to pry her way out of their grips and they looked to be struggling. She touched our daughter!
"No I did not touch that little BASTARD child she is not worthy of being in my presence she's just gonna be some hood rat just like her-"
"Angela SHUT THE HELL UP RIGHT NOW AND LEAVE MY HOUSE THIS INSTANT BEFORE YOU SAY SOMETHING YOU REGRET! IM WARNING YOU NOW BEFORE I LET KATE WHOOP YOUR ASS LEAVE!" I yelled at her and she quickly scurried out and took her bags with her.
"No! I wanted to beat her ass she touched my daughter! I wanted her to swallow all those fake teeth in her mouth and knock her mole right off her sun burnt face!" Kate ranted out finally being released only to run to the door to see the cab speeding off. "Fuck!" She turned and made her way back upstairs.
Before I went to go console her I asked,"What the hell happened down here?"
"Well Tango came down in a hurry with her bags and was about to leave until Kate came running downstairs and completely went ham on her. Kate was cursing and throwing things while they pulled her off of Maya. Apparently Nicole had placed her hands on Kita and she denied it. And that's when you came...." Kyla finished up pointing at me.
"Oh that's nonsense Angela would never-" my mom started, but I interrupted.
"No! Mom don't say anything about Angela. You don't know not a Damn thing that woman put me through and for her to put her hands on one of my kids is unacceptable and I'm filling charges."
"Charges for a child that isn't your? She's a hoodlum just like her mother! I raised you better than this how dare you call Angela out of her name, you are supposed to be with her!" She exclaimed.
"Dad I'm sorry, but imma have to ask you to get your delusional ass wife out of my sight before something goes down." I said as calmly as I could.
"You dismissing me because you claim to be in love with some gold-digging ghetto black woman! I can't believe you! If you want to be with her I will surely disown you!" She said.
"Go ahead Damn it I'm making money and I have my own Damn family. Hell I should disown you, you're not acting like a real mother. A real mother would be happy that their son finally found love and is done with the bachelor life. Instead you sit here and disrespect my woman and try to give me away to some high class whore of a girl... not a woman but a girl who puts her hands on children that don't belong to her. I don't think so. If you're unhappy with my decision than you can surely leave and don't bother me anymore." I finished and retreated back upstairs.
I walked past the girl's room and heard an angelic voice singing....

I sat and enjoyed her voice singing to the kids before I made my way to the bathroom in my bedroom to take a much needed soothing bath. I turned on the faucet and added some nice scented bath oils to make sure I come out smelling....fresh. I stripped slowly to make sure that I didn't put any strain on my lower have and slid into the suds. I pressed a button on the side of the tub causing it to play soft Zen as I soaked away the soreness.
I leaned my head back and enjoyed the peace of all that I've received by the names of Kate and Kita to get my life on track. I closed my eyes and drifted to a few seconds of....peace.
Kate POV
I was done playing and singing with girls for the day. I needed to calm my nerves and they wore me out. I was going in the room to lie down when I heard soft Zen coming from the bathroom. I walked towards it and opened the door to find a peaceful Joseph sitting in the tub. Aw he looks so calm and just plain adorable. He probably wore himself out. His face started to twitch and confusion took over.
"Why are you watching and not joining love?" He asked all of a sudden causing me to jump and squeal.
"I...I...I was just checking to see what the noise was. I'm about to take a nap I'm a little worn right now." I said.
"Oh ok...how about to get all of today's events off our minds....I take us out. You, Kita, Jojo, and me. Just go and do whatever for the rest of the day to get away from the house?" He suggested. I really needed that.
"Yeah that sounds great...well I'm off to take my nap. Enjoy your bath baby." I said.
"Enjoy your nap sweetness." He replied. And with that I went to the bed and dove up under the covers for a good rest.

After I had awoken from my nap Joseph had done what he promised and took us to a little facility where families went to have.....family time. We jumped around on trampolines playing basketball and played in pins filled with little balls and jungle gyms. It had been a while since I had that much fun and my inner child came out.
I really needed that and Joseph knew and being the sweetheart He is he took us all out to lift our spirits. He sensed something was wrong and solved the problem. The man even cursed his own mother for disrespecting his woman and his child. I had heard the whole thing and I wanted to feel bad, but the woman was in the wrong to treat me and my daughter like that. I'm glad she was never around her alone. She called my baby a BASTARD and that was the last straw. Call me what you want, but talk about my family and you've lost all my respect.
"Mmm baby I would make love to you but I don't won't a repeat of last night so I'm sorry I can't please you with my skills." He said smirking. We were in the bed fresh out the shower.
"Boy whatever...I don't need it. You can hold out on what little you have for as long as you want." He frowned and smiled devilishly. Next thing I know I'm pinned down with my hands above my head.
"You weren't saying that last night now we're you. That didn't sound anything like.....Joseph, oh Joseph, Fuck me please, I need you don't stop. To me that sounds so different. "
"Whatever..." I could feel my cheeks heating up.
"Mhm now get some sleep sweet love." He kissed my lips and rolled off of me and pulled my back to his front in a loving embrace.
"Goodnight....little love." I said. He groaned and I giggled.
