here.
me, aaron and his friend evan were attending a wedding today due to the fact that they both weren't allowed to attend the reception without a girl.
----
i sat at the table by myself as the loud music caused my ear drums to pound and my head to ache like hell. i tried listening to my own music to maybe try drown out the rest of the party, however it didn't work so i just kept them in to give off the impression that i didn't want to be talked to, therefor making people avoid any contact with me unless they were drunk.
i seemed to be the only sober one left as most of the party laid passed out on the floor and the rest had gone home. i couldn't comprehend why my presence here was needed as aaron and evan survived perfectly fine. although, just as i was about to call a cab whilst waiting in the darkness, a car pulled up next to me. my anxiousness began to increase as the window was pulled down and a deep voice began creeping within my soul only to cause my whole body to freeze slightly.
"darling, hop in the vehicle." was demanded by a stern voice by who it looked to be as mr styles. i pulled the metal handle and opened the car, just to see mr styles in his work attire with peaceful jazz music playing in the background of his mesmerising voice assisting me into my seat.
"why are you out so late at night by yourself?" he questioned after a few minutes of silence.
"i-it was a wedding, but everybody drank too much and passed out, so n-now i'm here." i said awkwardly.
"you didn't drink? how old are you?" he eagerly questioned some more, seeming curious as to why i was the only responsible one there.
"no...i don't see the use in drinking for fun. and i-i'm 15." i nervously responded as he drove a bit too fast for my liking.
he then stopped the car quite suddenly.
"when's your birthday?"
"april 1st 1999." i said hesitantly.
"ok, we can work with that." he said as he started to drive again with a dull expression on his face. i decided not to answer back and just to stare outside the window at the harsh darkness which was engulfing the city. a few more minutes went by before he started to make conversation again.
