The relationship was going well. Well, well enough. He took her on picinics, and bought her presents, and told her she was beautiful. He made her laugh like no one else could and she was his ray of sunlight. They almost never fought and their financial situation was satisfactory. They were happy.
And if they were happy during the day, she supposed, then it didn't matter much whose name he called in the night. Did it?
