Letting Go

I waited outside as Shawn said his goodbye to Matt.

Shawn's Pov*

I walked in and gave Matt a hug.

Matt:"Bye Shawn, Take good care of her."

Shawn:"What do you mean?"

Matt:"Shawn, I know you like her."

Shawn:"What?? She's your girl, Plus she likes you."

Matt:"Shawn, I told her about Emily and We agreed that not being together is best."

Shawn:"She'll wait for you."

Matt:"I'm letting her go, I'm letting her go to you."

Shawn:"I don't think she'll ever feel the same way."

Matt:"Trust me, She will. You're a great guy, The perfect guy."

Shawn:"Are you sure you're okay with it?"

Matt:"I'm sure, She deserves better and you are the better. Just don't ever hurt her like I did."

Shawn:"I won't."

Matt:"Good, I'm going to miss you bro. Take care and take great care of her." He gave me one last hug.

Shawn:"I'll miss you too, We'll come visit."

I left the room and went to Tracy.

*Back in Ny.*

We just landed in New York and Tracy was sleeping on my chest.

I know she needs a friend right now but I can't help but think How cute she is and how cute it'd be if we were a couple.

Tracy:"Are we here?"

Shawn:"Yea, Let's go."

We got our things and we took a taxi to our place.

She dropped her bags by the door and immediately fell asleep on the couch.

I took off her shoes and laid her head on my lap and put a blanket on her.

I stroked her hair as she fell asleep.

I sat there watching her sleep like an angel, The moment got ruined when her phone started to ring.

*Beep Beep*

*Reminder, Go to the host party, Get groceries, Buy Shawn Gift, Pick up dry cleaned dress for Awards ceremony,Make Shawn bday dinner*

I couldn't help but smile at her last reminder.

I turned it off so she could sleep but I don't think I could be any happier.

My birthday wasn't until two days from now but I think it was suppose to be a surprise.

Whoops, Guess I can just pretend to be surprised.

I started to fall asleep smiling for the first time, in a while.

*The next morning*

I woke up to the smell of Chocolate chip waffles and I turned to see Tracy cooking in the kitchen.

Tracy:"Oh, Sorry. Did I wake you?"

Shawn:"Nope." I got washed up and sat at the table with the waffles.

Shawn:"Why are you so dressed up?"

Tracy:"The director said I left something so I'm going to pick it up."

Shawn:"Wait, Your phone."

Tracy turns back around,"Thanks you're the best." She kisses me on the cheek again and grabs her phone on her way out.
