Corey Hall:

Hi! Didn't see you there! My name is Corey Hall, and I have brown hair and hazel eyes. I'm a Junior in high school, the star quarterback of the football team, and most popular guy in my grade. Sure, I'm kind of a bad boy, skipping classes, throwing wild parties, and not listening to what anyone tells me to do, but I don't think I'm that bad a person. I mean, at least I'm not a player, overly-cocky, or a bully. We leave that job to my stupid, annoying, obnoxious, brat of a little brother, Hunter Hall. But I got popular by being nice to most people, and by being able to play football. Also, I've had one girlfriend since I was a freshman. Lilly Johnson. The best girl in the world. She was very smart, funny, kind, and beautiful. Withe emerald green eyes, perfect wavy dark hair, full lips, and a spot of freckles on the bridge of her nose...what more could I ask for? So, I don't think I'm that bad a person.

As I was heading to Business class, (the first class of the day) I thought about what Lilly had said to me this morning. She said she loved me. And I said it back. I was still in shock.

As I entered the Business room, I swear I heard a few people gasp. I had barely walked into the Business class yet this year, and I wasn't planning on making it a habit. But, if my grades didn't go up a bit, my parents were gonna ground me from football. And I couldn't do that to the team.

"Wow. Mr. Hall actually showed up." A sarcastic voice muttered.

I turned to see who it was, and found it was actually the teacher, Mrs. Wilkinson.

"Yes I did, Mrs. Wilkinson. So, lets start. I can't wait to listen to this incredibly interesting lesson!" I replied, over-enthusiastically.

A stifled laugh escaped from beside me. I was shocked to see it was Zoë Jackson. Zoë was a girl with long, curly black hair and scary grey eyes. She was probably the smartest kid in school. A teacher's pet. So you can understand why I was a little surprised by her laugh.

"Alright, class. So, today you will be put into pre-chosen partners," everyone groaned, "and you will create a business. This will include the funding to start this business, how you plan to advertise, what this business will be about, and anything else we have discussed this year. The partners are:"

Mrs. Wilkinson stared listing off partners, and I zoned out until I heard my name.

"Mr. Hall, with Miss Jackson."

I nodded at Zoë, and zoned back out. I didn't pay attention to what she said until she shouted go.

The first thing Zoë said to me was, "You catch any of that?"

I snorted. "No."

"I didn't either. Good thing I record all her lessons." Zoë passed me an ear bud, and we started listening to what she told us. Basically re-capping the project.

"Ok, so what do you like?" She asked.

"I like football, skipping school, partying, and hanging with my friends and girlfriend." I responded.

She sighed. "So we have almost no common interests. I like reading, playing video games, fencing, track, gymnastics, swimming, but I do love hanging with my friends, family and cousins."

"Great. So we have nothing to base a business off of. I like video games, though. I wouldn't expect you to." I raised my eyebrows.

"When you have an older brother, and two younger ones, you tend to learn to like stuff. What if we do something that neither of us love? Maybe we can learn to like something new." She suggested.

"Sure. Why not? What kind of stuff could we do?" I asked.

"Well, we could create a company that- I dunno- creates eco-friendly bags?" She shrugged.
