"Mom I don't understand why I can't ride the bus to and back to school", she really is making a big deal out of nothing I mean it's not that big of a deal.

"Honey you know why, I don't want those lower class kids in that school getting all touchy with you ,you might catch something"

I'm really banking in the idea that this women is insane, well that's my mom Amy Lucy Smith, my fathers name is Dan Adam Smith, so back on track, I really don't get it ever since I was like 10 I've never been able to ride the bus my mom has always said "you got to keep your image good" whatever I really don't care about image. Honestly I want to be a normal teenager, and I really hope going to high school this year can help with that , I'm going to be a senior this year, I haven't been to high school these past years because I was home schooled an- "Alison are you even listing to me?"

Nope. Nada. "Yes" *lie*

"Ok then what did I say?"

"You said that you love me lots with a whole bunch of hearts" ,doubt it,

"I said I want you to go to the mall and buy the rest of your clothes".

"But mom, we always go school shopping together" I said disappointed.

"Sorry Alison but I can't this year, I have to go to France with your father , they have a problem with the bank and we have to help ,we will be gone for two weeks ,please be good ,Eddie and Rosie with be here".

Unfortunately none of this was a shocker to me. My parents are always going to different parts of the world, sadly they don't have the tradition of bringing me something back like in tv shows. She said they'll be back in a two weeks but in all truth, she means a month. As for Eddie and Rosie, Eddie is my butler and chauffeur. Rosie is our cook. We have other staff but we trust Eddie and Rosie more then them. Other than that. I am practically raised on my own.

I walk up to my room, I can't really remember the last time my mom actually called during her time away, figures though when she's gone she forgets she has a daughter but I don't really care I've learnt to except it.

With my mom talking non-stop I never really got to tell you about me.
Well, my name is Alison Jennifer Smith (obv), my favorite color is blue (aqua to be exact), I have no friends, I'm always thinking(like always), I love reading and singing , i have only had one crush(he-will-not-be-named), I live in a small town in Texas and I have the biggest house in that town ,it's four floors and has everything in it I swear , I am 17 years old and my birthday is on June 20th, oh yea I hate my life.

**Later that night**

My room is my safe haven. I love my room it is the only place I have qui- " Alison why are you always in your room did you forget we have a theater, a huge pool, a hot tube , a work out room , arcade, and solan, go do something" my mom practically yelled.

"And did you forget to knock before you barge into someone's room, or is that something else I should do to, 'cause I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me to walk in on you and da-"

The look on her face and was priceless , a wide smirk grew on my face , I win

Wait for it 3 - 2 - 1

"Alison don't you dare you to finish that sentence, if you do you will regret it."
Scratch that my room is no longer peaceful.

"Calm yourself mother" I said smartly. If my parents were any good parents at all I would have got slapped in the face, the least she could do was ground me.
"I was just coming to tell you that me and your father are about to leave for the airport in two hours." And I needed to know because...
"Ok bye" I said without giving her the slightest glance.

"Ok bye honey, love you lots." Yeah, love you lots my butt. I can't wait for tomorrow, my first day of high school. Ugh, just thinking about it gets me wondering what it will be like. , I'm not going to sound arrogant or anything I just know all eyes will be on me, well because I am the prettiest and richest girl in town , lucky me.
