The Search for Angelo's Story

Epilogue

  A while had passed since the team's agreement with Jane and it actually wasn't going bad. Even though Angelo, Jericho, and Violet all had their share of physical training in the past, they were learning much more training at S.U.N. Not only physically, but mentally as well. They were all learning how to get into computers and hack codes and to them, it was pretty interesting. Especially to Marlina and Violet, since that was something they were especially interested in. Besides the outside training and missions, things went back to normal again. They messed around in the lab while the adults laughed along. Things went only a little serious when they got a call to have a mission but nothing changed their light hearted mood. Now working for the organization, they gave Jericho a bike of his own free of charge. Jane became the unlikeliest of friends with Harold and Rachel. Even after finding out she was the one who he was named after, Angelo hasn't fully accepted Jane as his true mother especially now since she's more of his commander and she hasn't fully accepted him as her son for similar reasons. But they still will always acknowledge that is a fact that they'll never forget and they do appreciate from each other that they're trying to build things up again. Even if they won't say it out loud.

"What are you kids doing now?" Harold asked as he opened his station's door to look out into the hallway where the four friends were. "Do be careful, don't get yourselves hurt now" Rachel said appearing from his station. "We're trying to get Angelo to actually do something with us today" Marlina said playfully. She along with Harold and Rachel looked toward his direction. He had a thoughtful yet serious expression with his arms crossed as he looked to a large monitor expectantly. "Shh" she put a finger to her lips then pointed to Violet who was walking to him with something to say. Jericho looked on with his arms crossed. Also worrying about the monitor but not to the extent of Angelo. "Violet, he'll relax when he relaxes, can't we just leave him?" He said. "Shh don't worry I'll get him here~ " she said, hoping to use her natural charm to get her way as usual. Angelo noticed her movement from the corner of his eye but didn't move from his position, he just moved his eyes to the direction she was coming from and where she was going to stand when she reached him. She inhaled sharply about to start talking with her finger in the air when the monitor in front of them flashed the word "MESSAGE". They all tensed up and looked to the monitor attentively. Who appeared on the screen then was Jane. "Listen here. I have another mission for you and it'll require all of you this time. Head over to the base as soon as you can and the mission will be effective immediately" she said with her usual serious commanding voice. "And... I'll see you soon" she said a little lightheartedly to Harold and Rachel. The screen then flickered off. Angelo uncrossed his arms and turned to look behind him with a smirk. Violet being proven wrong put her hand down and placed it on her hip and shook her head with a smirk while the others looked on. "Well let's get going. We have to get there now" Angelo said. "Right" his friends responded. Marlina waved to her mother sweetly and she waved back. Angelo looked back at his father, he smiled and nodded being proud of his son. "Oh don't forget the journal" Marlina called out. It was the same journal she and Angelo used that time ago and it was being used now for their missions. Jericho nodded and snatched it from a desk as he walked passed it. They then hopped on their respective motorcycles with Violet riding on Jericho's and Marlina on Angelo's and rode off to the base where'd they receive their mission.
