CHAPTER 1: The Flyer
POV Bella
"Katie. Katie. Katie get your butt up before i leave you!"
"No.." Katie said in her typical groggy morning voice.
I've been sharing an apartment with my best friend Katie since we were seventeen, and 3 years later this girl still can't get out of bed in the morning. As Katie rolls out of bed on to the floor I continue getting ready. And live while we're young.. lets go crazy crazy .. bum bum bum.. I sing to myself as i put on my boots and did my hair.
"Can you not?" Katie asked annoyed.
"Can you be grammatically correct?" I asked also annoyed.
We smiled and laughed. No matter how hard we tried we could never stay mad at each other, it just didn't seem possible. So she joined in and sang back up. Lets go crazy! Crazy! Crazy!..This continued for several minutes. We walked downstairs and went our seperate ways. "Bye Bella!" Katie screamed from across the street. I waved and smiled. I made my way down town to Jack & Bee's record store, where i worked.
"Bella!" my co-worker Johnny exclaimed.
"Johnny-o!" I shouted.
"How has your morning been?"
"Good, and yours Johnny boy?"
"Good so far"
"That's good" I said with a smile as i walked to the back to scavage for old records to add to my collection.
Things just sound much better on vinyl, plus Mr. Jack didn't care considering he was my uncle. When i was finished I went outside to hand out flyers, and of course it had to be one of the windiest days in New York history. Humdreds and thousands of flyers fly out of my hand, I run and fetch as many as I can before running out of breath. I look down and see 40 "Jack & Bee's record store" flyers and one flyer for an Xfactor audition being held in.. NEW YORK CITY! I need to show this to Katie..
