"Mom so are u going to be able to come and pick me up?" I asked on the phone starring at the cars turning on their engines making their way to the open fence and the dark blue sky and the moon winking back at me "mama u know i told u i was gonna work late today" she said sounding tired "mami u never told me shit" i said looking around notecing that i was the only one in the front of the school in a light orange bench "cant brianna or eva give u a ride?" She asked "mom they left" i said i herd her take a deep breath in and letting it out "can u please find a ride?" She asked "its ten the game finished like five minutes ago theres probably still people around" she said "i guess" i said taking a glance at the cars leaving the gates "bye mami i love u baby" she said and hung up "love u too" i said looking at my black vans i put my phone to the side and leaned over to rest my elbows in my knees and i starred at my dangling lanyard in front of me
"Why so lonely?" A familiar voice filling up my ears i looked up "what?" I said looking up at justin "why are u so lonely?" He asked once again his brown orbs looking at me i shook my head sucking my lips in my mouth "come on ill give u a ride" he said "how would u know that i need a ride?" I asked "fine, do u need a ride?" He asked i nodded he grabbed my phone i quickly stood up "hey! Give me my phone" i said walking towards him he unlocked it and started typing i ran after him and he started running as well straight to the parking lot until he reached a red ferrari i chased after him running the fastes i can he got in and i went on the passengers side he then handed me my phone i put my hand to my chest trying to catch my breath "i thought u were gonna steal my phone if i knew u were gonna give it back to me then i wouldnt have done the marathon" i said breathing in and out still not catching my breath feeling my throat burn from dryness
