5:30 PM

After I finished tidying up and took a quick snooze, I was lying in bed and writing in my spiral bound notebook that I keep in my nightstand.

"I can't believe he is actually here. This is like, a wet dream or something...I still can't believe it! I have crushed on him since I met him back in May...now he's in my house!! I wish I was sharing a bed with him..."

The ear-splitting screech of the EST Genesis fire signal in my room snapped me back to reality in an instant. "HOLY SHIT!!!" I yelled as my hands flew to my ears.

I ran to the EST Remote Annunciator in my room to check the display. "LOOP 001-DEVICE-009 KITCHEN SMOKE DETECTOR" was displayed on the green LCD. I pressed Audible Silence and the Genesis signals clicked into Silence mode (Horns off, Strobes still flashing). I ran to the kitchen to find Brandon running water over two flaming pieces of toast while trying not to burn himself. I helped him clean up the mess and we thought we were safe--until the swearing commenced from the hallway.

"WHO IN MOTHERFUCKING HELL INSTALLED THOSE DEMONIC ALARMS?!?!?! WHAT DUMBFUCK SET THEM OFF?!?!?!?" Nicola screamed as she stomped into the den.

"Oh holy hell, here comes Queen PMS", Brandon muttered as she gave him the death stare. "Don't start with me!!" Nicola snapped back.

"Why don't we all go to Cook Out and get milkshakes or something?" I said, hoping to diffuse the situation. It worked beautifully. Soon, all 4 Frantas were in my 2013 Toyota 4Runner (yes, I own an SUV for travel purposes. The Buick is my everyday get-around car. Cassie drove because she was dying to meet Connor).

As we pulled into Cook-Out in Thomasville, I made a note of the cars parked at the Marathon next door, but tried not to notice as we placed our order. As we pulled onto NC-109 North (Randolph Street) to head home, I noticed the cars pull out behind me in very rapid succession. "Oh fuck no, not them again", Connor moaned as I took a closer look. Yep, the psycho fans were back. I realized we needed to lose them ASAP.

I swung onto I-85 North and floored it into the passing lane. I spotted another white 4Runner like mine and fell in behind him. The fans followed, but when I took Exit 106 for Finch Farm Road, they followed the other car. The plan worked!!! I hung left onto Finch Farm and followed it until it became Unity Street, which I followed to NC 68 or "National Highway" as the locals call it. We swung onto Hasty School and I almost rolled the 4Runner when I turned onto my road.

We arrived home and ate our Cook-Out quickly. I parked the Buick in the drive-under basement garage and pulled the 4Runner behind the house just in case the fans appeared at the house. We settled in for the night with the movie "Bad Teacher". I was doing pretty well at hiding my passion for Connor when he excused himself to go shower.

Soon, he returned wearing only his boxers. Mary had come over just before and we both almost lost it. "Oh Jesus Christ..." Mary began. "My Lord and Savior in Heaven above", I finished the phrase. Connor smirked and continued into the bathroom off the den. Mary and I just looked at each other and thankfully the other Frantas hadn't noticed.

9:30 PM

The movie ended, and we all excused ourselves to our quarters. Mary left with instructions to monitor all social media activities related to the Frantas. She was to call all lines immediately if any rumors of a hunt-down or mob appearance were headed for the area. She had all of our numbers and was to call until someone answered, calling the landline in between each cell number. As we went to bed, I set all of the landline phones to the loudest ring setting and armed the perimeter security system, so if any fans slipped by, we would know if they crossed over the driveway.

We hadn't been in bed for 45 minutes maximum when the landline rang. I picked up to hear Mary say "The fans are focusing south of Thomasville around US-64. Just be warned; they're working their way north". "Thanks, we'll be on the lookout", I replied. I ran to the storage room downstairs, grabbed the car cover for the 4Runner and ran outside to install it. I threw it over and Dustin helped me fit it snug to the 4Runner so the license plate was concealed. We went back in, and I chanced one last glance out of the sliding glass doors that lead out of the basement. To my relief, the yard was totally empty.

I finally slid into bed and crashed. Next thing I knew, my alarm was screaming it's 8:45 AM wake-up call like usual.

FAST FORWARD....

9:15 AM

Brandon, Nicola and Dustin were going to see Katie and the rest of the family for the day. Connor had opted to stay home for some odd reason but I didn't question it. As I handed Dustin the keys to the 4Runner, Connor was still snoring loudly. I went back to bed--I didn't have marching band camp that day and I was enjoying my late morning.

10:20 AM

I awoke to hear the shower in the master bath running. I rolled over to look and found the door closed, but Connor's singing answered any and all questions. Except for one....how the fuck did my notebook end up on the dresser? I put it away after writing last night...or I thought I did. Hmm. Weird. I assumed that in my sleepy haze, I had simply tossed it aside before passing out.

15 Minutes Later

I had rolled back over and was facing away from the master bath when I heard the door open. I didn't look for fear of a heart attack (or hard-on).  Soon, I heard Connor walk out and I jumped up and hit the shower myself. While I was showering, my brain focused on one thing only: Connor. All I wanted was to be his one and only...and for him to be my one and only...

"How can I approach him? How am I supposed to even get near someone so famous--oh shut up Steven he's in your house!!!"  I mused aloud, only to hear a knock on the door. I froze when Connor said, "Hey Steven, can we talk when you are done?"

"OH SHIT. OH MY GOD, THIS CAN'T BE GOOD", blared through my brain as I shut off the water. "Uhh, yeah, sure", I responded shakily. I dried off and dressed as quickly as I could. I found Connor in the den.

The first thing I noticed was my spiral notebook in his hand. I looked at Connor and he returned my gaze. It was a soft, warm, knowing look and I promptly burst into tears. He came over as I plopped into the La-Z-Boy and wrapped me in his arms. I just blubbered "I'm so sorry..." over and over. He just held me as I cried and soon he said "I know you love me...and I love you too".

Time froze. Literally. Time FROZE.

I looked into his eyes. Damn, they are pretty. "Wh-what?" I sputtered. "Steven, I love you SO much. I was planning to come back and surprise you and when you invited us to stay I was so happy-you have no idea. I just didn't know that you...", his voice broke. Before I could say anything, he just looked into my eyes and said "I love you". Then...he leaned in...and it was if a million fireworks went off.

Here ya go!! I know it's long but I had to condense some stuff...WattPad glitches...
