As i walked into the gymnasium our teacher came in and told us that we can either do 1 or 2 laps, i choose to do 2. As i was finishing my 1st lap i could see Luke run by my side.
"So you chose to do 2 laps, eh?" He questioned me.
"LUKE, HOLLY NO TALKING!" Our teacher screamed. I turned my attention back to Luke.
"Because i like to run, big deal." I said rolling my eyes.
"Ooh we have a fiesty one here. Haha wanna race. I bet 20 bucks that i will beat u." I think about it for a moment and finally agree to the challenge. What he doesnt know that i am very fast. As i finish the line i see Luke like 5 seconds behind me and as he finished his lap he said to me,"My locker after school for the money." I simply nodded and walked off with a smile on my face.
"OH MY GOD YOU BEAT FRIKIN LUKE HEMMINGS!" Jemma screamed at me.
"Wow Jemma you can be loud, and so what. He owes me 20 bucks." I walk off but when i look back i could see that Jemma was really sad.
*Skip to the end of the day*
I walk towards Luke's locker and see him standing there talking to his mates. "Hey Jemma!" Luke said and now all of the group was staring.
"Um hi. Can i just get my money and go?"
"Wow wow wow, wait," the Asian looking guy said,"Why does he owe you money?"
"Because i beat him in a race in PE earlier." I confidently said back.
"Haha he never gets beaten. He is like the fastest in the school.
"Haha not anymore!" I said laughing but Luke just glared at me.
"Here is your stupid money, leave me alone." He said handing the money to me and stropping off.
"Hey Holly dont worry about him. He doesnt like it when soneone is better at something than him. Oh yeah, bye the way i am Callum," he said walking off. The other two boys didnt talk and followed after Callum. I better get going, see if my dad is home.
