C O N F U S E D

It was almost 4 o'clock in the morning when I received a message from my friend who invited me to join them at his uncle's mansion. At exactly 8 in the morning I went to the train station to meet Grai Fischer who invited me together with Jeong-Ju Na, Chi Minh Su, Sunohara Yohei, Mischzelle Furukawa and Marfeb Kunpiwook.

All of them own a company, except me because I'm a detective and by the way I'm Stanley Ren Fang but people call me Stanley or Stan.

We rode on the train for almost 2 hours and sailed on the yacht. It was then that I noticed the weird actions of Grai.

He walked back and forth and was pale. I didn't mind him cause maybe he is just seasick but later on, I saw him talking to somebody at the phone and it seems like a top secret plan; a bad plan. I pretended I didn't heard him for maybe he might get angry.

Finally, we arrived at our destination. We were so tired that after eating our lunch we all took some sleep.

The next day afternoon, we ate our lunch and Grai introduced us to his uncle and the other person at the house, as expected.

"So you guys are my nephew's closest friends. He always talks about you. Dozo yoroshiku! (Pleased to meet you), And I almost forgot, I'm Tetsouro Takauchi." He said in a very calm and gentle voice.

We all replied in chorus, "Pleased to meet you too Mr. Takauchi."

Mr. Takauchi waved his hands, chuckled, and said, "Oh no no. Please, call me Uncle Takauchi instead. I feel younger and comfortable when you call me uncle."

He also introduced his butler who has a British accent; Mr. Alfred Meyer and to his younger brother, Mr. Sinji Takauchi.

After the acquaintance, we all had some fun together and enjoy every single moment. We laughed, we sing, we ate, we laugh again and lastly, we all took some goodnight sleep.

11:59 PM

*BEEP!*

12:00 AM.

I've already heard the clock beep many times already, yet I still can't sleep. So I've decided to go to the kitchen to drink some water.

I was about to open the fridge when I felt someone pass behind me. I felt the chills run through my spine. I know I'm a guy, but the heck, who else would be awake at a time like this!!?

I mean, people at a time like this are asleep at their beds, snoring, drooling and dreaming of something stupid.

*CRASH*

I was so shocked that I sat on the floor, catching my breath while watching the corner of the kitchen where the crash came from.

By the help of the moonlight, I saw a shadow that has a long hair and creepy hands, was looking for something and it seems to be a woman.

I crawled slowly towards the shadow. As I was approaching, my heart beat faster and faster until it talked and said "Stan what happened?"

I was planning to shout out loud until I noticed it was just Marfeb Kunpiwook looking at the fridge. Good thing it was just her or I'll be dead by now.

I responded to her and said,"Oh it's just you Marfeb. You scared the heck out of me I thought you were something creepy."

Then Marfeb laughed and went to her bedroom to took some sleep, while I was also heading to my room I saw Grai sneakin' at his uncle Tetsouro's bedroom and I asked Grai what was he doing ; without hesitation , then he replied in an utterly voice.

"I-I-I-I was j-just checkin' on my uncle. Yeah that's right I'm just checking on him."

"Checking on him at a time like this? For what?" I suspiciously asked him.
