The life she had before

Perfect. The word described her life, her friends, her family, her pets, house, school, everything. She didn't believe she was the definition of perfection except everyone around her did.

Her friends knew her life was short of flawless but still envied her in every sort of way. They knew her home life was inadequate, a booze loving father, a depressed mother, and an older brother who was anything but lonely. He was the prefect one out of the four, Emma envied and tried her best to be just like him, but never seemed to compare.

Amber, Leah, and Gabe knew she was the odd one out of her family. Adopted, loved, but invisible when things went south. Still they wanted her life to be their's. Envy is the only reason they were there for her.

Gabe wanted a perfect life, free of bullying, one where he wouldn't get his head dunked in the toilet just for being gay, or feel the need to pop his mother's prescription pills. A life surrounded by the people who werent so infatuated with Emma to never notice him. Excruciating pain was all he felt.

Leah was the hopeless romantic girl at Kingswood High that had loved Riley for years before Emma came along amd snatched him out of her grip... Before she disappeared. Passion for herself and room for one was all Leah felt.

Amber the girl who never compared to the good looks of Emma. She was the richest girl at Kingswood making her parents buy her anything and everything on top of the yearly plastic surgery birthday presents, the coach bags, and the runway dresses. The need to be loved was all she felt.

All three wouldn't mind seeing Emma go away for awhile. Then they would be the prettiest, not be made fun of, and maybe receive love finally. Once she was gone they could have the lives they dreamed of. Hopefully.
