Prologue

"Guys, this is going to be the best three months ever" Hayes yelled as he jumped behind Claire, Charli, and I as we arrived in Washington where we would be staying with Charli's parents.

"Yep, we are going to be going to Magcon and sitting on a coach everyday while you and the boys get to go on stage" Charli said.

"Hey, Babe that's not true" Hayes said and kissed Charli.

"Hey, quit kissing my sister" A little voice said.

I looked over and saw Charli's little brother Riley.

"Hey, riley" I said walking over and pushing his wheel chair over to his sister.

Riley has been fighting cancer for the past year and all four of us are really close with him.

"Hey, Riley" Charli said.

She bent down and got to his eye level.

"We will be back for three months. I am going to see you when I get back right" Charli asked.

He nodded.

"Now, Riley if you ever need any of us. Just call" Claire said.

He smiled.

"Ok" he said.

"I'm going to wheel him back inside. So I can say bye to my parents" Charli said.

"Look at us, four, 14 year olds going on your with all of our second family" Claire said.

We were sitting in there talking when we heard Charli scream.

The three of us ran inside.

"Claire, grab Riley and get him out" Hayes yelled.

Claire grabbed Riley and wheeled him to the car.

"Nash, how could you" I yelled.

"Well, we picked this path" he said and ran off.

"Are they breathing" Charli asked.

I walked over and put my finder to their necks.

I shook my head.

"NO" she yelled and ran over to her parents.

The chase all started in Washington but what we didn't know is that it wouldn't resume until we were sixteen.
