Chapter 11

*The Day I Ride A Bull*

We got to chris house and we brought all my things inside.

Me: it's been a long day for me can I get some sleep?

Chris: yah sure you can sleep in my room or where ever you like.

Me: okay thx

I went to his bed and slept there, I slept there for 5 hours and I woke up and went to find Chris. He was down stairs making dinner for both of us.

Me: I don't want you to waste your food on me I can go out and eat.

Chris: I want to cook for you

Me: alright fine. So I remember that you said your a bull rider right?

Chris: yes mam, why are you asking?

Me: I want you to teach me how to ride a bull

Chris: No its to dangerous for you

Me: No its not I can do it. It's you teach me or I teach myself.

Chris: do you always get your way?

Me: Yes

Chris: I can't teach you, I'm sorry I can't see you getting hurt.

Me: then I'll teach myself

Chris: No you won't.

Me: mhmm

Chris has a bull cage and but all the bulls were inside the barn I let the nicest looking bull out and went to the cage I put the bull in the cage and I had no one else around to help open the door because Chris was sleeping it's one in the morning. I put on cowboy boots and all the right clothing for riding a bull. and I had the rope around the bull. I went in the cage and sat on the bull, it started jumping and moving around I got out. When it stopped I went back in and this time it wasn't moving.

I opened to door and the bull was going wild I have to stay on for 8 seconds. I didn't make it to 8 seconds I fell off at 4 seconds and the bull stepped on my back. I got up and ran inside I left the bull in the cage.

Chris went out that morning to feed the bulls and he saw the one outside. He ran all over his farm looking for me because he thought I was dead, then he ran inside and saw me passed out on the couch. He woke me up.

Chris: did you put that bull out there?!

Me: yes

Chris: where are you hurt?

Me: I'm not hurt.

Chris: bullshit your new at riding bulls and everyone gets hurt on my first try now show me where you got hurt?!

Me: Ok ok.

I took off my shirt and should him my back and it was black and blue and red it was bleeding.

Chris: don't do that again! You know what that bulk could have done to you, you could have died!

Me: but I didn't

Chris: yah but what if...

Me: there wouldn't be a what if... I didn't and I won't die.

Chris: don't you ever go on a bull again! Do you understand me.

Me: Yes Chris

Chris: good. Now go take care of your back.

Me: Yes sir.

I hope he knows I'm going to ride a bull again tonight. It was fun and I want to be a bull rider. I can't wait!

He went back outside and put the bull away. When I go back out tonight I'm going to use the same bull the bulls name is big red. He kicked me off once and that pissed me off I'm not going to stop riding him until I get to 8 seconds.

It's 1am again I went outside and got big red let him out and up him in the cage. I didn't know Chris was awake and he was watching. He came outside and said...

Chris: I thought you understood me that I didn't want you riding that bull?

Me: god you scared me!

Chris: and the bull doesn't?

Me: No I'm not scared of big red.
Look I need to ride him! He kicked me off and I thought I would get the 8 seconds and I didn't, and I'm not going to stop riding him until I get 8 seconds.

Chris: alright. If it's goings to be this way I need to teach you the right way to ride a bull.

Me: seriously?!

Chris: yes. Alright this is what you got to do, I just want you to watch. You put the rope around the bull you should always have someone to help you with things. When you ride the bull you only use one hand if you touch the bull with your other hand your out.
You see this little handle on the rope, you put your fingers through the handle and hold with a good grip. Now I'll ride the bull to show you what it looks like.

Me: alright

He got on the bull and I had to pull the door for him. I watched him and how he held the rope and he stayed on for 8 seconds, I knew he would since he's a bull rider and he knows what to do. Then he put the bull back in the cage.

Me: that was amazing. My turn?

Chris: tomorrow not tonight, it's late.
