In a far away world just like earth yet not we find our young hero Dante' taking a nap on very large tree branch high above the ground. Suddenly, an arrow nearly hits Dante' on the head as it strikes the trunk of the tree. He awakens and quickly looks around for bandits or pitifully skilled hit men, only to see a small note on the arrow. The note reads: "Look down to your left." He sees a royal messenger waving at him. Dante' stands he summons his powers of mystery, and teleport from the branch to the ground below.
As Dante' materializes, he quickly looks over the royal messenger and sees that he is from the castle of nephlime , a nearby realm. Dante' asks: "Why did you wake me?" Without saying a word, the messenger gives Dante' two scrolls and walks away. Dante' watches him warily to see if it's a trap. Satisfied that he is safe, Dante' slowly opens the first scroll and reads it. The scroll says: "Dante', you must kill the hit man Rex by Halloween." "Rex has vowed to kill the princess Raven, from the nearby Kingdom of nature." "You will be paid handsomely!" Dante' decides to do the mission and looks at the second scroll. It reads: Dante', you shall wed the princess Raven of the Kingdom of nature. It is signed by Lord Smithson, leader of the Council, in the Kingdom of Nature.
Dante' is very mad at this. Although he knows of the princess Raven, he never thought of marrying the princess. His allegiance is with his father's Kingdom and kingdom of fire his home . But, Dante' decides to do it anyway. It may end up being a good thing. After all, he will be paid handsomely.
Our hero heads begins the long walk toward town of Hope the town just outside the castle of nephlime. On the way his is constantly looking around for places that could hide an ambush. There are those who are jealous of Dante's reputation and claim to his father's throne. On the way to Hope, Dante' spots a route used by tradesmen and begins to jog knowing that it is a short-cut to the city.
Shortly, he hears a cry for help and quickly breaks into a run in the direction of the voice. In the near distance, he sees several bandits grabbing a young woman. She's being pulled out of her carriage in attempt to kidnap her. Dante' is now running at full speed pulling out his signature o-katana sword. The sword is beautiful. It has a pure black blade with red edging along the length of the blade. The handle does not have a guard and the grip surface is made of the finest leather and adorned with strips of black and white cloth leading to the chain-mail on the pommel.
In a flurry of slashing movement, Dante' easily dispatches 3 of the bandits. The leader sees Dante' and quickly pulls dagger hidden in his waistline and holds it to the neck of the young woman hostage. In the blink of an eye, Dante' uses his powers of mystery and teleports toward the bandit leader. He surprises him from behind and grabs the handle of dagger from bandit while freeing the hostage from the bandit's grip.
Unknown to Dante', Rex, his mortal enemy sent the bandits to kidnap the young woman. It's a tactic to lure Dante' out into the open where Rex can duel Dante'. Unfortunately for Rex, Dante's skill with the o-katana was too much for the bandits and the odds are now in favor of Dante'. Rex realizes that a battle would be futile and unwise.
The young woman, relieved to know that she is out of danger now starts to gently sob in the arms of Dante'.
Looking Over to the former hostage he asks are you OK also what is your name. Raven responds I am OK and my name is raven. Raven thinking that not trusting him with information that she is a princess is a good idea.
Dante' ask where do you need to go raven says I need to go to capital my carriage was suppose to go there before the bandits showed up Dante' nodding to this offers to teleport with her there raven says yes right away Dante' says you will need to hold onto my hand raven nods ok not trusting her voice grabbing his hand leaving is a blaze of black fire as soon as they arrived at her destination
