I had hoped everything had been a dream, a weird twisted dream but a dream none the less. My eyes took in my surroundings of the room I had woken up in early. Then my eyes landed on my hand where the mystery guys hand was drawing circles on it with his thumb on the back of my hand.
"What are you doing?" I asked but soon regretted it. My throat was sore probably from all the yelling and screaming I did. I actually felt like I went to a metal concert with an intense mosh pit.
"How are you feeling?" His hand continued its slow assault on my hand whilst ignoring my question.
"Not great." I tried moving my other arm but quickly stopped when I felt the pulling of the stitches that laced up my forearm.
I looked down at it wrapped in gauze but I could feel the stitches that would hopefully be out soon. I had always been a fast healer, a thing I prided myself in.
"You need to eat." He let go of my hand and I instantly felt cold. A small part of me was begging for him to hold my hand again though I would never admit it to him or anyone else mainly because the thought was absurd.
"What I need to do is to leave. I have work tomorrow." It was my first day as an art teacher something I had always dreamed of being so there was no way this yeti was going to get in my way.
"NO! You will stay here." His warm attentive attitude was gone and replaced with the asshole attitude. He walked back over to me with a tray of food and water. I took the water right away.
"If you don't let me go you will be the next one bleeding out in this room." Even though I was in pain and weak I moved off of the bed or well tried. He stopped me from sitting up.
"Don't move." He shifted me back to the way I was originally laying. My brows deepened with annoyance at his behavior.
"Don't tell me what to do." I spat at him getting angry with the way he was treating me. "I'm leaving and you have no say." I shifted off of the bed again as his now dark silver eyes looked at me with an unreadable emotion.
"FUCK!" He growled and stomped out of the room.
I took this opportunity to go to the bathroom. Sure I almost fell twice on my way but come on give me a break I've had a pretty exhausting day.
After I finished my business in the pristine bathroom that cost more than my house I wobbled to the bedroom door. I opened to be greeted by two hulky looking dudes. Both gave me odd looks but didn't say a thing.
"Hello, goodbye." I said as I wobbled passed them and down the hall. I heard them start to follow behind me. "If you're going to follow you might as well help so I don't fall." Getting down the stairs was going to be a struggle in itself.
Surprisingly they both grabbed a hold of my arms gently and helped me down the stairs. I was half expecting them to shove me down or pick up to take me back to that room. These people were unpredictable but yet again so was I. Hell I didn't even know why I was being calm about this whole abduction thing.
"LET HER GO!" A growl caused them to drop my arms like a hot potato that in turned caused me to fall forwards.
Luckily Mr. Angry pants caught me. Warmth spread across me once again. This feeling, though comforting, started to annoy the hell out of me. I would have to dip into my funds to afford a therapist to tell me what the fuck was wrong with me.
"I will drive you to your house."What he was letting me leave without a fight? YES! I'm free!
I nodded too stunned to talk. He led me out of the house to a waiting car where he put me in the passenger's seat and walked around to the driver's side. Call me a pessimist but there had to be a catch to why he was doing this.
"What made you decided to let me leave?" Beating around the bush was not my thing nor did it get results quickly. That and the fact that I didn't care if annoyed him.
"That's what you wanted." His jaw tightened telling me this wasn't really what he wanted to do and for some reason I tried to comfort him. He seems to mumble something under his breath that I chose to ignore.
I placed my hand on his shoulder literally and figuratively shocking both of us. "Thanks." I pulled my hand away from his shoulder and stared out of the window trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with me. It wasn't like me to comfort someone who in my opinion done something wrong to me.
The ride was quick do to his speeding combined with my daydreaming but as soon as the car stopped in front of my house I felt a little disappointed that it was over. My weird feelings must have been from exhaustion. That has to be the reason why I was feeling so weird. Hunger and tiredness makes one do or feel oddly. Maybe even the weather I heard that's a factor to mood. At this point I would believe anything that could explain what I was feeling.
"Thanks for the ride." I got out of the car as quickly as possible and ran around to my back door where I kept a spare key and let myself in.
Lilo meowed at me from the living room where she sat happily on the couch. From her happy attitude I knew something else was off. This fat princess wouldn't dare to be nice to me even if I just cut her food one sixth.
First thing I did was check her food which was oddly filled, that explains why she was happy but it doesn't make sense on how it was filled in my absences. I know it was empty when I left...
Grabbing a knife I walked through my house looking for any other signs that someone had been here. I opened closets while swinging my knife like a maniac. I knew it wouldn't do much since it was a pairing knife but a cut is a cut. When every room was cleared I could finally relax a bit with Princess lard ass next to me.
Food was first on my relax agenda. I made a giant Italian sandwich that could feed a small village. I was so famished I finished it within seconds then ate a family sized bag of chips. Lilo tried to eat my food so i had to move off the couch to the table. She was too fat to jump up there. I drank some chamomile tea to help relax me after I ate and then I headed for the bathroom where I could finally wash away all this dirt.
In the shower I rinsed off all the dirt that had accumulated on my body over the last twenty four hours. I didn't know the protocol with the gauze so I took it off and let the water clean the wound that wasn't even close to being healed. It stung like a bitch as the water pelted the opened wound. I should have googled what to do.
In my soft fluffy bathrobe I strode into my room to change for bed. Though my body was relaxed my mind was anything but. I was afraid my insomnia would come back with vengeance at all this chaos. Thankfully I had a sleeping pill that popped into my mouth happily.
Bed was calling my name since I had to be up at six to get to school tomorrow. As soon as my head hit the familiar pillow I was out dreaming about wolves.
