When the barrio lass meets the dashing young doctor, sparks fly faster than the beat of drums... but would it last when his heart clearly beats for another?

Barely out of college, Luanne knew that she wasn't going to catch their town hero's attention. She wasn't anything special kahit na sabihin pang unica hija siya ng barangay captain ng Sitio Maginhawa. Tuldok lang siya kung itatabi kay Doc Brent-ang tinaguriang town hero at ang first love ni Luanne-kaya naman solve na siya sa pagnanakaw ng tingin sa lalaki.

Pero may nangyaring hindi inaasahan na naging daan para sa pagiging magkaibigan nila. It worked out for a while until it did not. She panicked and got scared. Ayaw na niyang umalis sa tabi ni Doc Brent so she made the craziest proposition:

"Gawin mo akong lover mo!" bulalas niya kasabay ng pag-iinit ng mga mata pero pinigilan niyang umiyak.

"Are you crazy?" sigaw ng binata, lukot ang mukha at may galit sa mga mata.

Baliw na nga yata siya. She just handed him the weapon to kill her heart...
