Mabel pov

Finally ! Today was the day my parents decided to return us back into the gravityyyyy fallllsss !

Bounced in my room as I began to pack my bags .

Dipper groaned and opened his eyes . " what's happening ?!.."

I waved wildly at my brother . " it's the day we're going back to Gravity falls !!! " i exclaimed , zipping up my bag.

" sigh alright then " dipper replied , sitting up .

Yay!!
We can go back to the Gravity Falls and become the mystery twins again :D

It was great that we got to return to the mystery town sooner than what our parents said ! 18 years of age seems to be so far ! So I was so persuasive that we got to cut down 4 years!

Dipper pov

When we got to the same ... Place I stayed in so many years ago , I suddenly got nervous .

Not as in , nervous to see my great uncle , but nervous to see if anyone had done something to the shack .
What if somebody... Something lived in the attic ? And Stan didn't know ??
What if ... The Author appeared?????!!

My eyes widened at the thought .
What if ?!

If only it was a normal summer ... But GRAVITY FALLS is NOT normal !!

" Hey Dipper ! Come on inside ! You've been staring at the shack for a very long time ! BROOOOOOOOoooooothhherrrrrr! " my sister spoke , snapping my attention to her .

I blinked twice . " yeah ... I was just feeling a bit ... Nostalgic ... "

Mabel slapped me lightly on the elbow and began to take her stuff into the shack .

I paused before I followed her . I took a glance at the Mystery Shack . My gaze swept over the door Mabel had just rushed into and sighed .

I went inside .

As I stepped into the familiar store , I took a deep breath , remembering the looks of the store .
" huh ? " I looked around the store .
The cashier desk was empty , and everything in the store seemed much neater ..

Strange ...

Where'd everyone go ?

I paused when I heard laughter coming from the kitchen . Curious , I walked into the room , surprised to find a group of people there .

There was Mabel, who was hopping up and down , Grunkle Stan, Soos , Wendy, a person who looked very alike to Stan and a strange person I've never seen before .

" huh ?" I frowned . Mabel caught sight of me .

" Good timing bro ! This is Dipper ! " she introduced , pointing two arms at me .

The two people I've never seen before nodded.

I was just confused and I just stood in the doorway , awkwardly .

" oh yeah, Dipper , this is our Grunkle Ford! " Mabel smiled .

We had a grand uncle named Ford? S-Stanford??

" it's better if I explain.. " the man sitting next to Grunkle Stan said.

I nodded in response.

" wow... " I whispered as I lay on my bed , staring at the ceiling.

There was a weird guy named Jeff. He is really shy! Huh. He said that he didn't really remember himself or who he was and that was very suspicious ... But hey. Probably he just has bad memory..?
The Author was back ! he was Stans brother Ford....
There are so many questions I need to ask ...
Did he remember Mcgucket?
How did he meet Bill?

I sat up straight and turned to the window. It was already dark and it seemed as if time flew past .
Haha .. metaphors ...

Mabel is already sleeping? Hmm didn't really notice her coming into the room..?

I just shook my head .

I'm just probably very tired and my mind is playing tricks on me.

I gave a last glance at Mabel's sleeping form before I closed my eyes and slept.

In the dream___

I woke up to see that I was in the middle of a forest .

Welp..

I stood up and began looking around for any civilisation.

A scream from behind me stopped me in my tracks.
" what..? " I muttered and turned around .

I saw a figure running towards me ... With a very large monster chasing them .

" shit! " I turned around and began running as well.

I ran as fast as I could , looking at the other person as I did. To my surprise , it was Jeff!

" wh- "

" shut up ! Run and get to safety first ! " Jeff shouted as he ran faster than me.

I turned around to see that the monster was half boar and half lion. My eyes widened when it roared , " COME BACK "

I turned around and ran even faster. I followed Jeff and took a sharp turn.
I noticed that Jeff had vanished .

Suddenly, a arm grabbed me and pulled me into the bushes.

The sounds of the monster could be heard as it ran past me .

When the monster became a very long distance away , I sighed in relief.

"What the HELL was that Jeff?! " I whispered .

The blonde just shook his head . " it was a figment of the remains of some dreamers anxiety. "

I blinked . " the what ? "

At that moment a huge snake-like monster loomed over Jeff .

" the seal has been lifted and all of the monsters that reside in the depths of the Dreamscape roam free now! " Jeff hissed , and moved over and punched me in the face.

" what tHE-"

" HELL?! " I exclaimed , sitting up on my bed.

The door slammed open and Mabel was seen in the doorway.
" DIPPERRRR BREAKFAST IS READYYY GO get down Ookkaay.!!!! "

" yeah yeah, I need to brush my teeth "

Mabel giggled and headed back downstairs.

I rubbed my face in my hands . " ugh.. What kind of dream was that ..?"

After breakfast , I was cleaning up the shack before it was open.

THe bell tingled and a blonde boy walked into the shack .
Jeff.

He looked at me for a few moment and headed towards the counter.

" Jeff! You better explain. " I said , walking towards him.

He flinched and turned to me .

" I- it was real wasn't it Jeff ? "

Jeff nodded.

" everything relates to the disappearance of Bill Cipher " he spoke .

" Bill? "
