Emptiness

"Oh my god! What are you trying to do? And why aren't the lights on?" Alexis shrieked in her high-pitched voice peircing the peaceful silence. She pushed Cameron away from her and undoing his arms around her waist. He immediately collasped on the black shiny marble floor. She squat fown to lift him up again cursing and swearing under her breath.

She dragged him up to his room still questioning why the lights weren't on. She flung him on is big black velvet bed, however, not knowingly she fell on the bed too. Suddenly, Cameron's slender fingers went around her waist, smoothing the material of her dress under his fingertips.

" What are you doing in mg bed gorgoeus?" He asked in a soft voice, so soft it was barely a whisper. She hastily pushed him away and stood up reaching to grab her phone from her purse as she heard her phone ringing. She carefully placed her phone against her ears.

" Hello?" She said cautiously afraid that its one of her boyfriends. " Sup! So how is it? Was it an enjoyment to fetch Cameron back ?! You sure are one lucky girl!" Kendra's voice bursted my excitement. Alexis was having hardly a good time. "Lucky are you serious? More like downright rotten luck." Alexis said clearly annoyed by the tone of her voice.

"Hey! He is so damn hot i assumed you were having a good time. Plus a thousand girls would have queued up just to spend one minute with this guy." Kendra said breezily, trying to reason with Alexis. "But right now i am hatibg every second of it so hell no dont give me this 'great' opportunity" Alexis yelled in the phone clearly pissed off now." Please put down the phone..." Cameron whined and wrapped his arms around Alexis's waist pulling her towards his chest. He started to kiss her neck. Alexis was so familiar to be kissed and so engrossed in her conversation she did not notic him.

"Ooohhh... someones looking for you! I shall not be the third wheel.
Chao!" Kendra screamed across the line chirpyly, then before Alexis knew it she had alrdy put down the phone. " What the shit kendra!" Alexis yelled in frustration. She threw her phone on the ground." Anyways even if its spoiled, I could just buy a new one." She thought. Then she finally realised what Cameron was doing, he was kissing her neck amd up to her ear. Nibbling her ear and giving her pecks on her cheeks. Giving her a back hug.

She tried to remove his hands from her waist but his grip was firm. He held on her her tightly as if trying to reassure himself that she was real and not just an illusion. He shut his eye lids, his dark red lashes feathering against his cheeks. The moonlight coming in through the window outlined him in white and silver. He tilted his head and buried his face in the crook of Alexis's shoulder.

He whispered softly," Stay with me... I'm all alone...I'm so lonely...please stay..." he bent his head down burying his face again. She felt the sleeve of her dress cold under her skin then she realized he was crying. "I'm all alone, I'm so lonely..." his words hit her like a tidal wave. That was the exact same words she had chanted over and over again. She had pleaded for a company, begged for someone to come tp her rescue. But no one, no one understands the pain to be lonely. When no one was there to comfort Alexis to even offer their companionship, she felt like she was being abandon by the whole world and was plunged into darkness.

I feel myself dissolving, vanishing into nothingness, for if there is no one in the world who cares for you, do you really exist at all?

She has asked her self this question a million times but found no answer. Everyday when she go back home, she wished to see her parents in the living like everyone else's parents, vegging out in front of the television, instead being in different countries holding conference meetings and all they gave her was transfering money into her bank account instead of just accompaning her. Everyday she held the glimmer of hope that she would have a homecooked meal in the living room, eating together like a family, instead of a extravagant meal in a high class restaurant. The food only tasted bitter to her because tears were falling down her cheeks into her food. She never thought that anyone would understand that feeling of emptiness. Kendra had never knew the feeling of loneliness before, she had always been the type that had everything in her life going smoothly and she had regular normal parents and a happy lifestyle. Unlike Alexis she had a luxurious and prestige lifestyle but her parents does not care for her she is lonely and most of all she is broken.
