I slug down the carpeted stairs at an early 1:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon. I guess the missing excitement was the only thing out of place. For, today is my birthday. I groan knowing that almost every single one of my birthdays were horrible with the worst and most childish presents ever. As the kitchen comes into view, there lay, on the table, a small box wrapped in sparkly light blue paper, accessorized with a flowing red ribbon.

"What's it gonna be this time?" I say hastily.

"I think this time your really gonna like it, Hope," she replies with an oomph of excitement in her voice. i had to admit it brightened my eagerness a bit.

After i peel off the wrapping paper and the ribbon, in the box lay two rectangular pieces of paper. On those papers, it read:

WWE Monday Night Raw

Front Row Seats

Backstage Pass

I squeal in excitement. Mom knew i loved wrestling and she was always saying we were gonna get tickets. Today was my lucky day! I reach down and yank the papers. The event was scheduled at the stadium about twenty minutes from our house, TONIGHT!

"Nice present, huh?" Mom asks from behind.

"Oh my josh, yes. Are you coming, Mom?"

"Heck no. I can't stand it. All the sweat just flicked on you along with big beefy men coming out in these weird mankini things."

"They're speedos mom!"

---------------

I race up the stairs, pondering who the second ticket will go to. That was easy. A few moments later, the phone was up against my ear and the ring was casting from the speaker.

"Hey, Analyssa," I say when her kind voice greets me.

"Hey, Hope. What's up?"

"How would you react if i asked you if you wanted to go backstage and front row at Monday Night Raw tonight?"

"Omg. I'll get ready and be there soon!"

I walk over to my closet and pull out a Sheamus inspired shirt: a light gray background, front half green and half red, and with a big white bootprint to represent his famous brogue kick. On the back ly a saying.

Over the teeth and past the gums

Heads up hooligans here it comes

I pull on some skinny jeans, before seating myself before my mirror. I pull a brush through my long golden locks, before clipping back a front section. I turn around as a rap sounds at my door.

"Coming, Analyssa!" I shout.

I pull open the door to let her in. She was dressed in shorts and a teal and neon yellow Dolph Ziggler shirt, showing the words: Stealing The Show, and Chucks. Her brown hair was falling in a curly veil around her neck. We sit down on my bed as i slip on my DCs.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"7:20," she replies.

"Let's get going," I say.

We walk in unison down the stairs and into the downstairs corridor and out the front door. I hop in the car and turn the key in the ignition, pulling out of the driveway and onto the main road. The wind whips past us with open windows as the excitement hangs in mid-air.

Hope you liked it.

It might be really short but it was boring to make and probably boring to read since we haven't reached the action part.
