Lelani's POV
"So, i'm not sure if I want to wear a hoodie or a T-shirt, mom are you listening?" I asked. It was raining and I was not planning to get drenched, but my hoodie is a horrible brown color. my dad worked so he had all the money and he bought me my clothes and that was one of the clothes that he got me.
"Lani- you can wear what you please, it doesn't matter to me." I'm just gonna wear a T-shirt and run to the car. The ride to NY from Ohio isn't that long right. So as of right know i'm wearing a pink shirt with yellow stars, it's a V-neck. I have on my short-ish shorts. I'm ready to go.
"Are you ready,honey? Do you have your phone, car charger, and your purse? It's a long ride so be prepared."
So we got in the car, after loading our stuff. Our dad was coming home after work at 6 and it was 4:30. We were off and i turned on the radio and started jamming out.

When we got there i said hi to my aunt and she sent me off to get unpacked. She has a huge house i lugged all of my stuff to my new room-single handedly might I add , i'm so proud. I put everything away and when i'm all done, i get the paint and paint away. My room now has Ice cream cones painted on my Yellow accent wall, The others are pink with candies on them. My room describes me. I'm an artist, and I have the voice of an angel. It's not that hard for me so I painted everything.
"Lelani, Can i come in?"
"Yeah Aunt Harmony." My aunt was a little overwieght but i cant blame her because she owns a bakery and it would be hard not to eat everything in sight.
"Lani- You can go to an orientation tomorrow for school if you would like. You don't have too but it might be a great idea. It could be easier for you to know your way around and then you can focus on making friends."
"Sure. That's a great idea."
