Y/A/N = Your actress name | Y/N = Your name
You sat in Bobby's house, leaning back against the couch with a book in your hand, your eyes lingering on Sam's tired body, his disheveled hair, and the yawns he made. In your eyes, his flaws were what made him perfect, but you'll never admit that out loud. Ever since you met the Winchesters, your eyes have always lingered on Sam, your small touches longer than necessary, and your laughter at certain things he says too forced, too abrupt - you learned to control that last one.
"Well, there's nothing in this one about anything we're searching for." Sam sighed and closed the book in his hand, using his free hand to scratch at his head as he used the other to toss the book into the "useless" pile. "I mean, this has got to be the first case ever. You don't really hear other hunters complain about this type of monster. What kind of supernatural entity possessed a human and literally eat their insides."
"A carnivore," Dean answered, looking up from his book and smiling at his stupid joke.
Sam ignored him and, when you saw his head turning towards you, your eyes darted down to the book you got bored of quickly. "What about you, Y/N? Find anything?"
You managed to pull a fake yawn before looking up at the man you've held a lifetime crush on and shook your head. "Not a single thing." You closed the book.
"I didn't find anything either," Bobby said, closing the bigger book he had on his desk in front of him. "Maybe this is new, like Sam said."
"Yeah, well." Dean shrugged. "We got to figure something out. Maybe it's a demon or a spirit or-"
"If it was a spirit, there would have been ectoplasm at the scene. Same with a demon and sulfur," Sam said, interrupting his older brother. "Look, we're not getting anywhere and I haven't slept in who knows how long. I'm going to hit the hay. Wake me if any of you find anything."
You watched as Sam stood up, stretched his arms, and then walked out of the room, leaving you, Dean, and Bobby, your eyes not being able to leave Sam's vanishing figure.
"You're lingering," Dean said to you, pulling you out of your daze, your eyes focusing on the eldest Winchester. "Y/N, seriously, why don't you just tell him?"
"Tell who what?" Bobby asked, looking between you and Dean, a shade of red rising onto your cheeks as everybody's attention seemed to be glued to you.
"Y/N has a little crush on Sammy," Dean said, crossing his arms over his chest and smiling. "Been there since she's met him, am I right?"
You didn't answer him, you refused to answer. Instead, you picked up the pillow on the couch and threw it right at Dean, but he caught it before it hit him. You stuck your tongue out at him.
"Real mature," Dean retorted, throwing the pillow back at you, you catching it just like he had.
"They're still not a thing?" Bobby asked, getting you and Dean back on the topic. "With the way Y/N stares at him, I'm sure he would have noticed by now."
"Come on, Bobby." Dean scoffed. "Sammy's as blind as a bat when it comes to romance."
"He is not," you defended. "I'm just not making it as obvious as you think, dummy."
Before anybody could comment, a whoosh of wings pulled your attention to the corner of the room, where Balthazar was standing with a smug grin on his face.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in," Bobby announced. "Would you like some whiskey? How 'bout some Bourbon?"
"Oh, Bobby. You're too kind," Balthazar said, "but I didn't come here for you."
