Before I die

Before I die.
I want to make a difference.
I dream to solve world hunger, for instance.
When I was little I thought I'd be a rock star.
But right now I'm not so far.

I've always wanted to play major league baseball.
But that won't change a thing at all.
Now I'm thinking if like to be a ruler of a nation.
That sounds like a noble occupation.

Or maybe I could pursue a career as a chemist.
Or cure cancer with a plant from the rain forest.
I could dedicate time to desolve racism.
While I'm at it preventing capitalism.

My mom says I can change the world with little things.
Like picking up trash, planting trees, and respecting others feelings.
I don't know if that would be enough.
I imagined it to be more tough.

If you could do anything, be anything, dedicate your life to anything.
What would you do, who would you be, would you ever stop dreaming?
